Non smoker here!
I wouldn't mind it's there lungs even if there is second hand smoke then whatever we breathe in so much crap daily , inhaling someone elses moke is bottom on my worry list.
Feel free to smoke around me just don't intentionally blow it in my face.
People are way too sensitive , i'm a cool calm person i don't let little things bother me no ones perfect!
I would hate someone to yell at someone if they were eating a cupcake while the other watching was on a diet, not the same thing but felt like saying it lol.

As I'm pregnant, I'd tell myself to get out of there. Secondhand smoke is often more dangerous than smoking. I just read a scary article about the effects it has on heart patients and diabetics. It's a leading cause of SIDS and respiratory infections in kids. I really don't care if someone wants to pollute their own body, but I have a problem when they think it's okay to pollute mine. It's rude and shows the person is not only in denial about the dangers of secondhand smoke, but thinks their right to smoke trumps my right to breathe clean air.

If at all possible I would move. Are we talking about a living situation or just sort of somewhere else? Smoking is something that I don't want to be part of my environment.

I would be very annoyed because I hate the smell of cigarette smoke around me, in my clothes, and in my hair. I would get away from that person very quickly.

Well, I'd be hoping I had one of my asthma inhalers in my purse and I'd be looking for another place to go. It's no fun having your lungs close up on you.

Not to myself, I would say to them, could you please not do that right now? If they persist I would put a big dip of snuff in my lip and start spitting juice on them. Same thing, there smoke defiles me.

I will say in my head, "Ay, ay, ay. Hugh, what am I going to do? Okay brain, I'll just walk away." Yes, I will eventually walk away.
