A girl in my school died recently, and we were friends, but not really close. She is however some of my closest friends best friend. We had a few things we did together, and I feel like I should do something to pay respect to her memory, but I don't want to feel like I'm just honing in on the funeral/wake when I don't belong. Is there any etiquette for how well you should know a person before you go to their funeral? Thank you.

When I go to parties, I am often afraid of losing my purse or having it stolen. Instead, I keep a few twenty dollar bills tucked inside of my cleavage, where I know it cannot be stolen without my noticing. I have large breasts, so the money stays in there pretty well! When I need to pay for something, I usually just take out the money smoothly - it's easy to take in and out.

Is this trashy?

I am living in the smokers' paradise otherwise known as Germany. Tobacco is so normalized here it is like when I was a kid in North America circa 1978. You can smoke on trains, in video stores and anywhere you want in a restaurant. There is no stigma against it. I once thought the laws back home were too draconian; not any more, though.

I feel that it wrong that black people use the word N****r as a term of indearment, and yet if another person who isnt black calls them a N****r, then its considered racist. I think that an insult is an insult, Black people should not reclaim the word as a word of empowerment. I know that other ethnic minorities do the same, and I still think that its wrong. Do you think it ok or bad let me know please....and most of all be honest without being offensive

...speaks really fast? Some people talk fast, but some people talk fast--almost like they're trying to get over on you or something. I want to be understood and understand those who speak to me. I don't have to be right, but sometimes I find some people talking fast when they want to sound condescending (like I'm illiterate or something). I think of it kind of like a car salesman "fast-talking" his way into a sale. Do you think it's not too much to slow down and be understood?

places like vaishnodevi are prone to unclean environment because people seem to have mingled pilgrimage with fun which is unfair.government also seems careless about taking any action against the unclean environment all the way from Katra to Trikut parvat.Litter, spit, unclean and choked toilets, no water or toilet facilities, no security to check the menace in between way,like certain people who dont mind smoking on the way which is not allowed, no proper sweepers etc. this shows that for people it is more of a picnic spot than a religous place and for government it is just a medium to earn revnue.And so what about the years olod importance of the place.Who will think of the cleanliness? who will help in maintaining the religous significance of the place? who will take care that toilets are maintained? who will make sure that the ways are neat and clean? do we spit or smoke or **** in choked toilets at our homes?? no i guess. then why at GOD Almighty's Home?wholl look in to it?

I have a cousin who is in the Air Force and I wanted to get him a nice birthday present. He is only 19 and has been in the the Air Force for only about 4 months and is stateside. He a typical guy I just don't know what would be a useful birthday present other than money or giftcard? I'm on limited budget. Thanks for any advice.

When I talk to certain people, they feel the need to touch me. They put an arm around me or grab my arm or touch a finger to my chest or something. It's just a casual touch but I don't get it. I never feel the need to touch people when I talk to them. Why do they do this? Should I be doing this? If so, how do you know when to do it and when not to?

okay, I lied the subject should be titled questions misc

What is it that you are doing on myspace all the time at late hours? What channel is you cable show on? Did the energizing soap on TV work? (I kinda what some) Are you all acting on the show?

Okay, the show just seems just a little scriptted, at times but is still great. Or maybe I just know a lot of bad people and you all are genuinelly nice. Very possible also. Regardless just bored and curious. Not to worry I am not a creepy myspace stalker, I beleive people on myspace should stay there. Just respond back.

When you are at the grocery store and the person in front of you is paying with food stamps, while wearing fake nails and talking on their (top of the line) cell phone. Or when you are driving through a section 8 housing plan and most of the cars in the lot are more expense than the car you drive?? Not trying to be rude but it is driving me nuts!!

I bought a portable cell phone jammer GTP1000 from www.grandtrades.net & it works perfectly well. I no longer have to listen to all the annoying discussions people make at a the movies & at last I can have some peace of mind & enjoyment at a restaurant. I only use it with people who keep talking too long. As well as lectures where I don't have to listen to a phone ring every few seconds.

I believe it's my right to simply stop annoying people within a few feet from me as long as they lack the common courtesy it's as if I'm protecting my personal space from intruders who pay no attention to others.

And to those people concerned about emergency calls etc. I believe if someone wants to make an emergency call, he can simply walk away a few meters (from the range of the jammer) & the signal will be fine. Ofcourse if it's a general emergency I will be turning off the jammer.

I need other people's feedback on this issue. :)
