Yes.
Then ask your grandma if you can pay her some way for the repair or do some chores for her.
Its nice that you're that thoughtful. The world still has hope if you're 13 and you're thinking of something other than yourself!!!

If you have already apologized and have repaired the screen, then you have done all you can. But if you want to write to your grandmother, do so, just put on paper what you are saying to her inside your head. That you are sorry and maybe that you hope the repair will hold. Did you offer to pay for the torn screen, by buying a new screen for the window? Or, you could do other odd jobs around grandma's house to help make up for it. Just a thought.

Yes, the thought is a great one. Especially if you know the individual whose window was broken. A sincere letter explaining the accident will show you are an honest individual that has a sense of integrity. People make mistakes and folks have to understand this. No one is perfect. The people whose window was broken may still be pissed and maybe the letter will not stop them from being mad. But a sincere gesture will show you have lots of character. If you are financially able, offer some money to defray the cost of the window replacement. This type of offer will go a long way in more ways than one. If you are comfortable approaching the individual, offer your apology in person and be prepared to offer to replace the window! :) Good luck and best wishes. :)

For breaking somebody's window, just saying sorry in letter form will not get you off the hook. You need to assume full responsibility and pay for the damage you caused.
1. Confront the person, apologize, and give them a check to pay for the repairs (make sure you know the cost of repair)

just be blunt and apologize. if you want to you can offer to pay for the replacement. it think if you were honest and responsible, i don't think they will call the cops on you. it would also depend if you were drunk and being dumb... maybe you should leave out why it happened, and just say it was an accident. it takes a bigger person to apologize for making mistakes.

Better to apologize in person and offer to pay for the damages.

No letter. Go to the person, tell them, then offer to pay for damages. I am assuming the damage was not done with malicious intent.

That is what teenagers do, it is expected, if that is the worst thing you do wrong at this age, we will all be fortunate. The verbal apology is all that is necessary, forget the letter.

No. Don't let them know you broke their window. Keep it a secret, and you'll never to have to pay them back.
