It's the new thing in India. At KFC's, MAC's, Domino's, music stores, phone helplines there are these young kids. They say, 'yes sir, yes ma'am' and are polite. But you ask them some info and they are blank.
At a music store I asked about an album Chicane Behind the Sun. The kid goes, you mean Shekanay, its Latin you know.
Then I was about WAP in my mobile. A kid says some rubbish, wasted my time, and asks me if I had what I wanted. Afterwards I figured it out on my own.

You're in a group, generally open and friendly with everyone... Become friends with the guys, just to have them later tell you they have feelings for you and you end up getting hit on by persistant guys that don't listen to "no thank you, I don't want to date" (they're nice, just not your type), and soon they start going weird (first attempts of being highly possesive and irrate, then later sulky, dark, and resentful).

And history repeats itself, with sometimes the most unexpected candidates (a large variety of guys... even ones already having girlfriends, have been told you are at the time dating someone else, etc).

My upstairs neighbor is a small, middle aged man and he stomps all day and night. It sounds like he is running a marathon up there. It awakens me out of a sound sleep. I left a note asking him if he was all right because it sounded like something fell. He wrote back and said it wasn't him. Spoke with landlord and she just tried to make me feel bad because "He is such a nice guy" -- I realize this isn't that big of a problem but does anyone have any suggestions? It's getting really old. I banged on the ceiling with my broom the other day but it didn't even faze him.

I answer all these dumb questions, then get cut off at my limit just when the questions start getting intelligent. I was going to say yes to Kosherink, that I asked the very same thing and felt the very same way. Does anybody else get cut off when they're on a roll?

One of my friends has one of his relatives serving in the army overseas and he talks to him sometimes via satellite. I was over at his house today and he was talking to him today via satellite and since i was in the room with him while they were talking and the camera was on i decided to ask him a question so i looked into the camera and asked him: How does it feel that knowing that you may be bumped off at any time? I was just curious and he just stared at me and they all though it was a rude thing to ask. What was the problem i dont know?

My first impression of this forum was that people asked honest questions so they can hear from others and maybe learn something. But it seems to me that some people are just venting and looking for others to side with! To me that's ridiculous. This is not a 'venting' forum. We're hear to learn from one another. Just the other day, the 'Best Answer' chosen was NOT the best answer at all...it was more like 'hey I chose you cause you're on my side!' I thought the answer was ridiculous. Anyone else feel this way too???

to choose an answer as the best answer when it has already been answered correctly by someone else who has answered first? It is so aggrivating to answer something first and then someone else says the same exact thing after you and they are awarded the 10 points! They don't have to put any thought into.. just copy your answer!

I'm writing a letter to Robin Williams, and I'm not quite sure if I should write "Dear Mr. Williams," or if "Dear Robin" will do.

Any help or personal experiences would be greatly appreciated :)

Why is it acceptable for men to go around without shirts, yet it is frowned upon for women to go around without shirts? Isn't this sexist?

This last question is for the women. If it were acceptable for women to go around without a shirt, would you?

I've been getting a bunch of mail from the person before us for over 2 years; the post office doesn't listen when we say it's the wrong address.

Anyway, I had accidentally opened a piece of mail I had mistaken for one of my own. It was a Christmas card with two checks inside. Obviously I'm going to return it to the post office on Monday and say it was accidentally opened, but I guess I'm a little paranoid.

I won't get into trouble will I? Honest mistake and am trying to do the right thing now, but I am still curious to what you all think.

Thanks.

How do i tell someone to be quiet without being rude??? Cause when ever you go Shhhh, people just call you "Rude" And roll there eyes at you, and that gets you kind'a mad cause you're just trying to listen when the people next you are talking about what they're going to do this friday!!! Instead of listen.
