Show her your question here on yahoo! answers and just tell her that she needs to pay up, shut up, grow up or move out. Actually, I'm only kidding about that last part. Show her this question and have a little sit down with her. Explain that unless she can pay on time and in full and respect your space this arrangement will not work out as you'd hoped. You're not being unkind, unfair, or unreasonable. Just politely suggest that if she is having unanticipated financial issues that you understand completely and won't be upset if moving out is necessary but paying on time and respecting your space IS necessary. Good luck.

Just tell her that you need a roomate that is reliable to pay her share of the rent, has cothes of her own to wear, and will give you the peace and quite that you need while handing her a 3 day pay or quit notice.

You need to sit and talk with her about your concerns. Be stern and give her a deadline on paying bills. Tell her to stay out of your belongings-that is not part of her sharing the place with her. If you don't just be bold and tell her the behavior will only get worse and you will end up hating her. Just tell it like it is. Period.

If you can't tell her strait to move out then find some reason for her to do so. For example you can tell her that your boyfriend is moving in with you and if you don't have one, ask one of your friends to act like your boyfriend. I completely understand your situation--been there. But you have to find courage to be assertive otherwise she will keep taking advantage of you. Good luck and Happy New Year!!!

Just tell her the reason and say that you do not want a roommate no more. Just ask her to leave cause she sure enough is taking advantage of you.

She has to move out on her own or you would be illegally evicting her.
Talk to your landlord-maybe he/she can help.
