Yelling at someone is nothing more than a release of anger.

As anger is only a release of built up frustrations, it helps no one, and in fact tends to make the situation worse.

Absolutely!!

IF there is a FIRE, I would want someone to yell at me. Any kind of emergency warrants a yell.

If a person is in danger or have put someone else in danger, yeah, yelling is warranted.

If you are a long distance from the other person and they are looking for you - a yell helps.

Those are but a few examples of when yelling is appropriate.

If someone cuts me, I'm going to bleed. That's when a person really should yell.
There are times I should not have yelled and have.
In general, I recommend not doing it if you don't have to.

It depends on how often you have to see someone who wrongs you. It depends on how much you love or care any thing about the other person. It depends on who that person is.

It's a lot more helpful to ask a person in your life for what you really need from them, and be aware of what they are able and not able to do for you.

There are times when it is appropriate to yell, matter of life and death.
Some venting is healthy, and some venting is not healthy.

It depends on who the other person is to you.
I recently said things to a friend of mine that I can't take back. I seriously regret it right now. I don't know if my friend will ever forgive me.

If a wrongdoing isn't going to cause death and destruction to any one else, if it's not causing serious emotional and physical pain, it isn't going to matter in 50 years any way.

It's also easier to say Thy sins be forgiven thee, than it is to say, Rise up and walk.
It's better sometimes to let things roll off your back, rather than try to make people be or do what you want.

It really depends on the situation. If you mean yelling at a person just to yell at them then I would have to say that it is probably not appropriate.

If you've lived in this world for more than ten minutes, you already know that the answer to this question is yes! There are many stupid people in the world. More than that there are thousands upon thousands of rude people. Yes. I would say that yelling is a much needed necessity.

YES. SOMe people only understand if you yell at them. I know you are going to disagree, but there is a time and a place but not yelling is stupid.

I never thought about that before. I suppose to protect someone from an oncoming disaster it is. Often parents use yelling to control their kids. This is not a good way to parent.

It can be used as agressive behavior, which I don't think agressive behavior is appropriate. Any other reason is probably appropriate. It just depends on the situation.
