I have hired a local carpet cleaning service to come clean my apartment and I was wondering whether I am supposed to tip them on top of paying the normal service rate.

We were celebrating my son's 1st Birthday and we had invited some of our closest relatives. Well, my wealthy uncle who is also my Godfather gave me an envelope for my son. When I got home I opened it and it contained a Target gift card so I went to take my son to the store to buy something only to find out it only had a balance of $10.81 that was previously used. I got upset and a bit sadden that they would give my son who never did anything and is so innocent a cheap hand-me-down gift card. I felt so insulted that I just threw it away. Should I be mad?? Thanks 4 your input!

Women want equal rights, men should watch children and do dishes, ect. but yet when it comes to men should hold open doors for women, walk near the curb of the street, stand up for a women if there is no empty seat on the bus, and what not. If they want to be equal shouldnt they do that for men as well?

I think that is the worse thing you can do, pick up something extra pungent and then eat at your desk. Especially when that smell gets into your hair and clothes and you're walking around for the rest of the day smelling like onions and underarms. GROSS! Any one else going through this? Or are you one of the offenders?

I'm out for my usual morning run about two weeks ago and see this incredible Dodge Ram truck. Custom grille, sweet paint job, detailed … I'm a chick that is a sucker for nice looking trucks. So the guy sees me looking at him and goes around the block, pulls over and says, "I couldn’t help but notice that you were checking me out". Two other guys are in the truck, all smiles thinking that their friend is going to get some digits.

Without even thinking I say, "Actually, I was checking out your truck" and keep on running. Later in the day I started thinking about that and wondered if I hurt his feelings. Not that it matters, he's some random stranger. Alas, I do see him almost every morning when I am running and most of the time he gives me this little wave. Should I start up some chit chat and apologize or just let it slide and admire that sweet *** Dodge Ram when it drives by?

Under-16's are to be given free contraception AND the morning after pill at school without consent of the parents. And in certain cases they can get even get abortions without their parents ever having to know.
England has the highest teenage pregnancy rate in Europe. A lot of girls are not even 16 before their 1st is born. I know of a 20-year olds with 3 kids of which 1 in primary school already!
What is happening? Why do these children want children of their own?
