If he likes to golf; A box of monogrammed golf balls is always appreciated.

If he likes plants: A bonsai or a lucky bamboo arrangement (bonsai needs sun, bamboo does well with little light so it work well in the offices)

Other ideas are a Gift Certificate to his favorite restaurant. Or tickets to a game, play, whatever his tastes are. Make the tickets for two, of course..

Cute, inexpensive ideas are M & M's with sayings (you can order what you like on them.)

A new coffee mug, with his name, or if he has a sense of humor, a funny professional quote.

Well first of all, make sure you schedule a psych evaluation with him. That way, he will get money out of your insurance company for that.

Then, pay a retainer deposit, just in case you ever need a good attorney for when you go psycho on someone. Then, you will have him as your attorney to defend you and your psychologist to testify to your insanity plea. LOL.......

How about a gift certificate to a book store or a coffee place. That way he can pick out what exactly he wants.
hope that helps.

You can never go wrong with a gift certificate. I think one to a nice restaurant is defintely appropriate.

He may psychoanalyze any gift you give him! lol.

How about a neutral gift, like a $10 gift certificate to a restaurant or coffee shop.

If you don't want him to get the wrong idea, I would play it safe with a nice card.
