I did...it was strange...this guy was staring at me from his window, he's like 80, so I just waved at him and kept working...I'm pretty sure he wasn't lusting after my youthful form....I think he's just a prick...

I was a bit late for a meeting and my boss was very upset. It was for an important client. He called me out of the meeting and we went into the lunchroom. He then took a fresh pot of coffee out off the hotplate and threw it all over my face. It hurt like hell and I had to go to Emergency. There are no visible scars, but I feel so violated. I need the money. Please advise.

I work the front desk and a co-worker (opp. sex) hangs around my desk practically all day! Most times, he doesn't even say anything!! He JUST STAND THERE! It's very frustrating! I am married, not interested in him at all, and want him to go away. Several people including myself, have dropped hints, and he's not getting them. Also, I have noticed, that he gets very angry if I don't speak to him! He's a bit unbalanced. How do I tell him to leave me alone without causing tension?

There's this guy that I've liked since last semester and we're finally going on a date this weekend to the movies. The problem is, I have a phobia of popcorn (I know, it's strange) and I get nervous at movie theaters and usually I have to have a friend buy my ticket and drink for me because I cannot approach the concession stand.

I'm afraid to tell this guy about my fear, because he'll think I'm weird and not want to go with me.

I found 25 cents on the sidewalk last night and it has been haunting me. Should I take it over to the police station and voluntarily turn it in? I am an honest person and it has been bothering me ever since.

Ok. I moved to the city from the country, and of course I hunt, and this black kid across the street wants to go hunting with me, but the people I go with don't like black people, and I don't want to say that, so what should I say? Plus I don't really want to take him...

She won't stop talking about herself and never asks othe people questions to find out about them. It's not that she's conceited, she's nervous and talking is her "crutch". It getting to the point that sometimes I would rather go out just the two of us, without friends.

"The children now love luxury; they have bad manners, contempt for authority; they show disrespect for elders and love chatter in place of exercise. Children are now tyrants, not the servants of their households. They no longer rise when elders enter the room. They contradict their parents, chatter before company, gobble up dainties at the table, cross their legs, and tyrannize their teachers".

Sorry, I don't normally ask such disgusting questions but I get the feeling that people don't realize this when they just keep letting them rip and killing everyone around them. Non-stinky ones are like a burp and more acceptable in my circles.
Anyhoo, let this serve as my PSA for the day.

Why is it that most men turn their nose up to a woman who is heavy? Is it culture that affects your preference?

People nowaday are very cold and unfriendly even in a religious place where love and harmony is emphazised. The most unbelieveable part is, even the educated group of professionals are not reflecting positive social manners to each other...why?

I go to the same nail place every two weeks. I was just wondering what is standard etiquette in tipping. I get manicure and pedicure for $30.00. Its the same lady who does both. What would you tip her? Thanks.

My office environment is fairly casual (it is acceptable to wear jeans). However, I just started my job, and I want to make a good impression. Does a goatee look unporfessional?
