1. Tell him the truth. The people you go hunting with are racist, and you don't really want him to come along.
2. Then watch him cry over something he has no control over — the color of his skin.
3. Do you have any character? The people you are hunting with are odious. You really should find other friends. Give the kid a chance. You may find you both have a lot in common.
4. This is a time in which you must rise above bigotry and be a kind person. He's willing to be your friend. What a compliment. Think about it.
Good Luck.

If he's underage, it wouldn't be smart of you to take him hunting anyway - God forbid something were to happen to him on your watch, you'd have a lot to answer for to his family. You can tell him that straight without offending him. If he is 18 or over, it's a little more complicated.
If you don't want to take him because of your friends, but you've no objection going hunting with him, plan a separate trip with just you and him, and maybe even a few other of your new friends and neighbors.
If you just don't want to go hunting with him, then you owe him some sort of final explanation - don't just put him off. It's not a "great" excuse, but you could try telling him that hunting is an escape for you, and you don't hunt with anyone but this small group of friends with whom you've been hunting for most of your life. We all have certain things that we regard as private and off limits to most of our friends and family, and for you, hunting is one of those things.

Personally, I would take a hunting trip with the people I usually go with, and then plan another hunting trip with the kid who wants to go with you, and maybe you could find some other people to go along who aren't racist like the people you usually go with. It would be a new experience, it would give the kid an opportunity to try something new and something that you could share in common with him, and it would probably be lots of fun, too.

If you dont want to take the black kid with you for hunting, then you just tell the kid that you want to hunt alone.
If you want to hunt with the black kid then you just do that
dont let other people decide what is good for you
i dont see a problem

Maybe take him to a shooting range some time as a compromise or do some kind of day trip that would not involve your friends. You can tell him that your hunting time is for you and your friends and that is your time to spend with them since you rarely get to see them.

Then take him,but hunting can be dangerous and you do not know if he has training so you both can be safe.I would suggest the two of you going with you DAD or another responsible adult before going out on your own!!

The bottom line is that you don't want to do it. Just say "no".
If you do not want to do it than don't. And that is OK.
Now...the racism issue. this is not good. You should try to work through this. Question your feelings on this. Do you really have a reason to not like African Americans? Or is it left over feelings from a generation that is no longer in charge?

Obviously you are not a friend He should not allow you into his circle of friends.
Go hunting with your buddies and may you rue the day you let racism into your life

if you really really want, you can take him by yourself. If you're adult enough to go hunting and form a group, then be as adult and mature to tell this kid the truth. BE RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR BEHAVING FOR WHAT YOU THINK, DO AND DECIDE

If this racist perhaps you better not go and lose the company of your friends. Explain this to the kid across the street and perhaps he will understand the way that you feel and the two of you can work something else out.
