Yes this behavior is not only inappropriate it is illegal ( known as assault) In the very least he should be required to pay the medical bills and he needs anger management classes. Violent behavior like this should not be tolerated. you are an emploee not slave. I would speak to a lawyer immediatly alot of themhv free onsltations and some ma take your case and not charge till after you win. If you told the hopital what happened you have more proof if anyoe saw it you avemore proof and if no proof ' stil r him t higher ups or the beter buisness buruw. the longer you wait to report this though the worse its gonna look for you so report it now and get a lawyer no job is worth your personal safety. if your still not sure think aout ths if he had slapped u would you report him?

Call the cops and have him arrested for assault. Go to the doctor to treat any scalds, and then call yourself a lawyer. You will get a ton of money from him and from the company you wrok for. Also, in most states, there are laws against firing an employee with a pending lawsuit on them.
Best of luck and definantly CALL A LAWYER.

don't know if what you are saying is true but if it is...you should hire an attorney and you won't need your job. you will soon be able to buy the company you work for. i don't think i would ever need money so bad that i would let someone throw hot coffee in my face. i would have emerged from the coffee and kicked his a**

Yes, it caused serious injury ,but do it because you feel that is inappropriate for the work atmosphere, wait innappropriate at all. You should do this ,because you were violated, but not for the money. Hint: Have another job lined up just in case.

There was a woman that sued McDonald's for spilling hot coffee on her lap.....
People sue for all kinds of silly things, but if this is haunting you also, seek an attorney.

you should press criminal charges for aggravated battery ( the coffee in this case would be considered a weapon).
give your emergency room bill to your attorney.
the police and your attorney will notify HIS boss, and if someone is fired its not very likely to be you.

Did anyone see it, if not your ****** especially if it did not just happen. You did not go to the emergency room nor did you file a complaint, so nope you wont get any money not unless he admits it, and i'm sure he's not going to.

Take him to court of public appeals and of public oppinion if you can prove your case (i.e. bring proof of your emergency room visit) you will not only be financial secure but you will have made it apparent to anyone going to do business with this jerk just what sort of man he is
