Why is it that most men turn their nose up to a woman who is heavy? Is it culture that affects your preference?

I wouldn't really say "most men" because most of america is fat, and alot of americans have a "significant other".
I know fat chicks who have dates. I know skinny chicks that are gorgeous with no dates.
Behind weight, and beauty sits grace, and carriage. If a girl seems ethereal and deep she's more attractive because she's a mystery, and a challenge.

lots of my friends prefer larger women. They claim it's nice to have something to hold onto.
Society dictates what is acceptable. If everyone where large, I'm sure attraction would still play a role.
Would, I date a large person? Honestly, I do not think I would. I think society already has their claws in me.

I think it's just the guy being shallow and stuck up. To be completely and utterly honest, I do it too, beacuse I'm shallow and stuck up. The guys that don't do that are the ones worth a woman's time in the first place.

Not really. Just costs more to feed a heavy girl than a skinny one. All a matter of economics.

Some "tatse" may be wired, but a lot is certainly cultural.
I can't stand the skeletal look that seems so popular. Somewhere average to a bit bigger than average for me.

Society tells us they are not attractive.
Also, they often have low self-esteem and take themselves out of the game with this self-confidence flaw.
My personal belief is that all people are beautiful.

because they try to see them selves and cant picture being with that person and they think how the body looks , smells, and feels and think that it is a uncomfortable feeling and then some just like the skiny and in shape body and model looks

anorexic chicks are way grosser than fat chicks. most of the time though, it's just weird to hang with a chick bigger than you. it's pretty a.ss-backwards.
