all 4 answeres are different, I am even more confused. It is registration papers on a dog, I had to re-order the orginals because the first mail is still LOST. The dog can't be shown until all the papers are in order.

Does UK come before or after the zip code?

The exact way you have it laid out above is correct.

I am from Glasgow, and trust me, the way you have written it is the way it should be.

Name
1234 Tollcross Road,
Parkhead,
Glasgow,
Scotland,
UK
G31 4XZ

Edited to respond to the last post...Glasgow is just G(then numbers), unlike most British cities with two letters.

This is the correct way, apart from the spelling of GLASGOW. Even without the space in the post code (Zip code) it shouldn't matter but G31 4XZ is correct and then United Kingdom. Just a point, is there a letter missing in the code, I am not certain, but ALL the Post codes I know have 2 letters at the start, ie: AB12 3CD, should it possibly be GL31 4XZ just a thought. as these papers are important it might be an idea to send them REGISTERED OR RECORDED MAIL, this means the person will have to sign when they receive them. Then you can at least track them a bit easier if they go missing.

Name,
Nr. and Street Name
District
Glasgow (It helps to spell the name of the city/town correctly)
Zip Code
UK
If you are not in the USA you'll probably get by with 'Ecosse', or 'Schottland' instead of UK.
Remember that the name of the country has to be understood by the people from where the letter is being sent, not the receiving country.

Put the last three items all on the same line, in the order you listed. The postal code should read G31 4XZ (insert a space after the first 3 characters).
