People type like THIS ALL THE TIME. It makes the answerer seem like they are shouting it at the person. I find it really annoying.

can i purchase cut flowers and just bring them wrapped?
Or will a florist deliver to the graveyard?
Or do i have to go thru the funeral services folks (that are driving the body to the graveyard in a hearse from a distant city)
There is no funeral or memorial service happening (there has been a viewing in another city)
I don't want anything socially awkward but i didn't send flowers to the viewing...The flowers are from a big group, my brothers, me, my mom; all our famlies.
I want the answer for what would be socially normal for american christians. the expected etiquette.
I know i can actually do absolutely anything i want.

Do they ever realize that they're annoying? People like me pay 10 bucks or more to see a movie and not wanting a douche to talk! Why do they do this? Do this idiots think their constant talking is interesting to people? Why can't these morons just talk outside where no one else can hear them.

My niece is "supposedly" getting married the first week of October. I only know this by passing comments in the family. Both my sister and my niece are ALWAYS late for everything they do. Ever. So no doubt there are invitations and they will be sent, but at this one-month mark I think they should have been received already if they expect people to be able to schedule to come.

I've taken the stance up until this point that the wedding doesn't exist until the invitation arrives. I don't want to go, and don't plan to, and was counting on this as an excuse. However, when my sister pins me down to ask why not, I'd like to point out that it's too late for me to plan a trip because I just got the invite (or haven't yet as the case presently stands). I want my personal belief that it should be a minimum of 6 weeks in advance to ring pretty much valid.

I just found out a few weeks ago that I'm pregnant. I just moved a year ago away from family and friend (1300 miles away) and probalby will not be having a baby shower. I am disappointed, since baby showers and gift giving is something my friends/family live for. How can I still let everyone know (my family already knows) that I'm pregnant, and also that I am registered (gift registry)? As it is my first pregnancy, I'd like to send announcements, but do you usually do that before or after or both? I likely cannot throw myself a shower, and it wouldn't do any good, considering most everyone is over 1300 miles away! What is the appropriate thing to do in this situation, since I'd still enjoy the cards/gifts, as would my family enjoy sending them? I just don't want to make it seem like that's the only reason I'm sending anything out.. What's a girl to do?

I have about six tatoos , most people are shocked when they see it as they see I look very inocent.(not sure what a person with tatoos is suppose to look like ??? I find it is a stereo type !!!)
well my sister in law brags and boasts about my husbands sons mother who by the way has five children for five different men .The fact that she is the perfect catholic !!! Though I am the only one of them who was brought up going thorugh a private catholic all girls school , due to experiences that happen in my life I come to feel that many people hide what they are by claiming they are catholic ! So I guess now I believe more in the virtue of people and not by the religious sector they decide to go under . I am stereotyped by them as being imoral ...but I have never sat waitting in front of a stip club ( as they have bragged about !!!) waitting for -horny men to pick up .So why are they walking around saying they are Holy !!!
Plain and simple I don't judge people by the way they look...

Ok, my 3rd grade daughter had a little girl in her class last year. The little girl is a triplet. We got an invite to her birthday party and it says "It's party time!! Celebrating x, y, and z's birthday!

We know who her siblings are, it's a small school, but we only know one of them better because they were in the same class last year.

How would you handle it?

It has dawned on me recently that customer service is dead! Very rarely do I come across a situation in which there has been excellent customer service. It seems just doing the bare basics to get by has beome the normal acceptence of our socitey. Do you agree or disagree? Do you have a example of either bad or good customer service?

We have lived in this house for about a year and a half, and have only had one of our neighbors come and introduce the "new people." Our next-door neighbors aren't very social, and we'd like to get to know our neighbors. Any ideas of properly breaking the ice?

It would probably be good to add that we bought the house from its original owners who had the house for 30 years. They raised their kids in that house and finally we bought this 4 br 4 bath house from a single lady, whose kids had grown up and husband had died. Could it be that the neighbors have so much history with them that we're just not the old family?

I don't have a bagger on my lawn mower and the clippings go out into the street. I know that it doesn't look very good and eventually when I buy a new mower, I will bag it and will not have this problem any more. However, I received an anonymous letter in the mail yesterday. It was a cutout of a recent article in our local newspaper in a section where people write in and have an "expert" answer your question. The person was complaining how people shouldn't let their grass clippings blow into the yard.
I was extremely mad when I opened this letter. First it was anonymous (If you have something to tell me, tell me to my face). Second, we just had a new baby and so I spend my time with him. Third, We have lived here a year, and all but one of my neighbors has mad an effort to introduce themselves.

I have thought about going door to door and asking who sent me this and try to explain myself (new baby, time, etc..) Any suggestions on how I should handle this?????

I got a friend that just bought a brand new house. What is a good idea for something to get them for their new house?

It is a couple that got the house not an individual.

I can say I do . I live in a neighbourhood that is a year old . A couple moved in a few months ago . Their are some people who have fences and other who dont as yet ( hopefully will have one very soon ) the next day they moved in they build a fence .By the way they are neighbours who are three houses away .I have caught the woman twice in my back yard with her scissor cutting my flowers ! I came out to and started directly at her and she just huffed away like its her perog to come on my property and do whatever she wants . She has hers all fenced so you can not go and cut her flowers . I consider this inconsiderate . Any one else with an irritating neighbour ?

If you are in a public bathroom and there are 5 stalls and only the far right is occupied by you, why does a person come in and use the stall right next to you? It's so gross and there is somebody in my office who does it all the time!!

When starting out in life we often get with a roommate to help share expenses. Over the years I have had good roommates and bad ones.

The worst one that I ever had was a guy who dating a woman with 3 kids. At some point he decided to allow her and her kids to move in. It was a total disaster. The utilites TRIPLED in price yet he only wanted to pay half. The kids would eat all of my food and his girlfriend would use all of my laundry detergent and cleaning supplies. We had separate phones at first but after he ran up his phone bill to over $3000 he started using my phone. I didn't mind the occasional $50-$70 long distance here and there. Over time the bills were getting higher and he was comming up with excuses.

To make a longer story shorter I ended up locking up everything that I had inside of my room. His girlfriend asked me what happened to the toilet paper, the snacks, and the case of sodas that I brought home the day before. I was amazed at her beligerance!
