Mark David Chapman had no desire to kill Yoko. It was his sick dream to kill John Lennon.
He shot five times, hitting John with four of the bullets, the fifth hitting the glass of the entrance to the Dakota building. With only one shot missing his intended target, it is not surprising that it would not hit the person he was not aiming for.

Because John L. jumped inbetween the gunmen and her and he was saving her life. All of the bullets were really meant for her butt ugly face!

My normally liberal a** has a real problem justifying the anger I feel about the a**hole who shot him whiling about in a hospital stoned on lithium.

Well for one to be shot the gun has to be pointed at them. So if the gun was not aimed at her I suppose she would not be shot.
