I do find it exceedingly rude when people talk in movie theaters, but even more rude when parents bring obviously too young children to adult movies. I wish the theater industry would think about having an in-house day-care with activities for a nominal fee (maybe they could show a children's movie that has been released to video), or else just turn away people at the door when they purchase tickets for adult films. I have even tried going late at night to avoid this, but even that doesn't seem to help. I guess they think their 4-year-old is going to sleep all the way through a slasher flick. How rude!

I hate to say it, cos I was that age once and hated it when people said it, but a lot of the time it happens, it's teens with nothing better to do. Chances are it's not their money they're spending (thanks to Bank of Mom and Dad!) so why should they care?
Definitely get the manager/usher/etc and complain, WHEN it happens, not later. I would discourage you from voicing up yourself, just incase someone tries to get aggressive or whatever with you.
Make it clear to the manager that you're not impressed, and that if it happens again, you'll be sending in a written complaint.
In the meantime, may I suggest you be pickier about movies/movie times - if you can, grab a matinee when there's fewer youngsters about, or go to movies they can't get into. I know I know, I hate to "assume" it's teens, but EVERY time when that happens when I'm in a theatre, it absolutely always, always is.

I don't think they are stupid but just plain rude. Next time when this happen, go to the manager and tell him to remove such person from the premise.
Watch the manager do it, and if the problem is still not resolved, get your money back and vow to never go to that theater again.
Get the manager's name and time of place, then write an eloquent letter stating how poor management is. This will solve the problem. REMEMBER, you 'must' write eloquently and with no foul language but to the point. It works, I done before.

They're probably the same annoying people who talk through a movie at home.
