What if you are dumb, blind, deaf, etc(I know about this girl who was blind AND deaf) and there was no way for you to learn about God. And what about cavemen, they were humans but they couldn't speak, only grunt. And does god know all languages?(Sorry I never read the bible) So what if you teach your baby a language you made up and lived on a island forever. That means you're child is going to hell?

I also believe that the reason people believe in such things strongly are that:
1. Their parents or their background(People around you) based on religion and devoted their life to it. Ex: If my parents hate something, I come to hate it as well.
2. The way the bible was written, in circular thinking AND the fact that the bible keeps you believing with hopes and fears. Like it would say that if you didn't believe in God, you will go to hell.
3. People believe because they fear otherwise, like imagination vs reality. I believe imagination are there to soften reality.

I am only 15yo..

I am currently pregnant with our first baby, and my husband and I are in the military stationed over seas, so we wont be able to have a baby shower with my family. Don't you think all you guys need to stop this endless debate?
Sides of christianity, ahtiest, jewish, muslim, etc of this ongoing war to be #1.

Taking religion just waaaaay too far. Billions of people live on earh. We all have different backgrounds and culture and outside appearance from one another. My ancestors had different teachings from these so called religions. None of these teaching tell us to disrespect/grieve/be angry with/(insert your bullsh**) with other religions.

How can u respect other people and even your own religion when you give the "I'm better than you" babble? I don't believe in Christianity. I don't believe in Muhammad. Yet I like it( in fact I'm facinated and been doing research) and respect it. You don't know me, but you know I don't believe in you and you disrespect/grieve/be angry with/(insert your bullsh**) for it? What Have I done to deserve this?

Respect others the way you want to be respected and I shall do the same

has anyone else realized this? College girls in america dress like sluts on halloween. They have to be the sexy school girl,teacher,cop or nurse..Then they have to post the pics on facebook and show off..."LOOK AT US WE ARE SLUTS!!" Why is this? Why dont american teenagers have any self-respect? Why must they dress so slutty? what's the point? I personally feel that they are belittling themselves.

I plan on going to college and studying international business and languages. I am a good french speaker but plan on continuting my studies in french in college. I could conceivably study both german and Chinese in college too. This would obviously be a lot of work but it might be worth it. If you think i should only do one, which one?

Could it be the gap started when satan sinned and that the Genesis account is a recreation of the earth after satan's sin caused God to destroy it? The Bible seems to have two spans of time that are contrasted. They relate to the foundation of the world. God was active before and after the foundation of the world. What do you think?

I think its strange that everybody is so sure their religion HAS to be the right one, when so many of them are rather new. Christianity is at most 2007 years old, but the egyptions religion is MUCH older than that, so what makes them so sure they are right?
