it's a bit funny but eversince that controversial tape of confessions by some VHP workers has come out in the open, suddenly HINDUS have started giving unsolicited explanations and are doing all sorts of odd things they can, to prove they don't support NARENDRA MODI, all this in a preempt that we muslims don't start equating modi and his likes with all hindus. Not that their efforts are going unnoticed but i wonder, this is exactly what many muslims tried to do after the 9/11 but somehow non muslims, especially hindus did'nt want to see reason. so much so that even today, 6 years later, on a popular discussion forum like yahoo q/a, so much filth is spitted and vomited about islam, all in the name of concern for human rights? If they don't like us painting all hindus with the same colour that we have or will be using to paint narendra modi and his gang , how can they equate OSAMA with ISLAM? If they can or will continue to do then we can't help following them!!

The actual DEVIL came to me in a dream. It was satan him/herself that visited me that night. No imagination, no creation of the mind. Satan himself. Would you believe me and what to do if the devil came to you in a dream? I think it was a prophetic warning.

Twice a year I get up on my soap box for a rare moan and I'm normally such a placid soul.

Personally I don't see the point of it (changing time I mean, not the moan). For one thing it's outdated in the 21st century with global communication and 24/7 living.
Don't give me the one about young children, they should be escorted to and from school anyway. And the dark doesn't stop the older ones going out.
What about the very young and animals - they don't know they have to wait an hour to be fed, milked or whatever then have to re-adjust again in 5 month's time.
There's no point in protesting to the politicians, they'll probably change night into day just to be more awkward! ha ha

I'm going on strike, I've changed the clocks and declared my house a GMT zone. I've always had one clock permanently on GMT now all the clocks are going to stay that way.

There, that's got that moan out of the way.
Ah! just noticed the computer clock, now shall I or shan't I?

Well I am originally from Cuba and immigrated to the United States and have lived here for 12 years. In about a year or so, I am planning on moving to the UK with my family(after I finish high school). When I move there, I am completely willing to embrace the English culture with open arms and mold myself to fit into English society.

Do you think I will have a lot of trouble with racism?

Whatever flavor will be fine, though Cool Ranch is preferable. Or... y'know, whatever. I'm looking for divine snacks. In fact, I'm *praying* for them. If Jesus comes through with some tortilla chips and guacamole, that'll be good too.

I'm not in absolute agreement with everything presented in the movie Zeitgeist. (www.zeitgeistmovie.com) Regardless, the first segment, elegantly describing how and why solar and stellar movements gained such importance to humankind that cosmic bodies were enshrined in myth, is a fantastic encapsulation of the major evidence against the claim of a historical Jesus and a unique spiritual status for Christianity. It's laid out in the movie and the sources are cited and, in some cases, linked to on the site.

If a halfway-intelligent sounding Christian can't shake his brainwashing long enough for the facts to get through, what is the point of even trying to reason with them? How do you present a logical argument to somebody who only needs a reassuring pat on the head from his fellow dupe to make him close his eyes again? How can we penetrate that kind of willful denial?

People seem to be putting more emphasis into parties and events to observe Halloween than even into Christmas. There's more clip art and other graphical elements on the Internet for Halloween than other holiday. Halloween used to be just a minor observance and mostly for children, now it's like a major holiday and even adults dress up in costumes. Why this shift?

I live in Pakistan and we usually use eastern toilets.
When using the eastern toilets you must squat (not sit) because these toilets are just a hole in the flat ground, and also there are no toilet tissues, no low sink with a fountain (which by the way I don't know its name), there is only a faucet of water and an ewer, so I clean my anus using the ewer to spill the water on it and rub it directly by my bare left hand and I also clean my penis by spilling some water on it.
But when I came to Iraq I found that they use western toilets, And I am very embarrassed to ask how to use them, And the most important thing is how to clean my anus and my penis, Do I have to sit on the low sink? Or I squat on it? And what do with the tissues? Please help me because I am seriously embarrassed.

With Wiccans or witches. I've been a witch and "out of the broom closet" for nearly a decade and I still have relatives who are "Concerned for my soul" I don't tell them how to worship their religion or tell them it's bad or wrong, why do they feel it's their mission in life to pressure me into feeling horrible about how I live my life?

If you're going to preach to me I'd appreciate it if you kept your comments to a minimum. I know the bible so I do not need you to quote me scriptures, ok?

One evening a family brings their frail, elderly mother to a nursing home and leaves her, hoping she will be well cared for. The next morning, the nurses bathe her, feed her a tasty breakfast, and set her in a chair at a window overlooking a lovely flower garden.

She seems OK, but after a while she slowly starts to lean over sideways in her chair. Two attentive nurses immediately rush up to catch her and straighten her up. Again she seems OK, but after a while she starts to tilt to the other side. The nurses rush back and once more bring her back upright. This goes on all morning. Later the family arrives to see how the old woman is adjusting to her new home. "So Ma, how is it here? Are they treating you all right?" they ask.

"It's pretty nice," she replies. "Except they won't let you fart."

Why do you think these 3 religions have traditionally fought amongst themselves so much? Some conflict is logical, since they differ as to traditions of worship etc, but they're all worshiping the same God! Why have they seemed to focus on the differences, rather than the similarities? It almost seems they haven't wanted cooperation and peace.
