With Wiccans or witches. I've been a witch and "out of the broom closet" for nearly a decade and I still have relatives who are "Concerned for my soul" I don't tell them how to worship their religion or tell them it's bad or wrong, why do they feel it's their mission in life to pressure me into feeling horrible about how I live my life?

If you're going to preach to me I'd appreciate it if you kept your comments to a minimum. I know the bible so I do not need you to quote me scriptures, ok?

Christianity, like all religions, believe that they're the 'one-and-only'.
I, too was born-again etc. but I always felt different. I could 'predict' things from my dreams and I could 'heal' with my touch. I kept those [gifts] hidden from the church.

You see, though they claim acts of 'miracles' in the old times and all, if you declare that you have gifts, they think you're 'demon possessed'.... kinda ironic and hypocritical.

Anyways, christians love to pass judgement on others cause they lead ultra-boring lives and since they can't live normal lives (cause every other thing is considered a 'sin'), they're a bit loo-loo in the head from all that repression/self-hatred.

When they provoke others and attack your beliefs, it makes them feel a wee bit better about themselves... but only for a moment.... eventually, like a crack-addict, they have to seek out new prey to cause the 'high' has worn off.....

I've read the "Witchcraft Bible Compleat" by Janet and Stewart Farrar. There is a chapter in the book called "Many Mansions". In that chapter, the authors bash Christianity as if it were the scourge of the world.

So why don't you tell us: what do you have against Christians?

If this doesn't apply to you, then you have nothing to explain. But you should understand that you've just offered a blanket judgment about people you've never met. Usually, only prejudiced people do this.

(You're not just talking about your family. Your question is phrased against the entire religion.)

Jesus Christ as the head of the church has put it on the heart of every true believer to have compassion for a lost and dying world. If you have not excepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior it is only normal that your nearest kin would be concerned about you. Don't allow this to offend you. They may not understand what you have gone through in your life. They may only be seeing the outward appearance you present. Have you tried opening up to them and sharing the concerns of your heart? The best solution to any relationship is honest communication. You have the ability to agree to disagree. All this means is that you can open up and discuss your stand on issues while being willing to hear their point of view without having to come to any type of agreement. If they are not willing to do this then they are the ones needing help from the Holy Spirit.

Whilst i may not agree with your beliefs or Christians I think the premises you state are not thought out.

It is a Christians nature to be concerned for your soul, this si the basis of their belief ... fear regarding the post-death state fo the soul

Does this:
"If you're going to preach to me I'd appreciate it if you kept your comments to a minimum"
mean"
If you're going to preach to me ... dont preach to me" ?

The Terror Management Theory will explain all that for you if you're really interested, but to summarise; all christians are jerks, that's why their christian. Wait; am I being a Jerk? Blah blah blah... I think the world would be a better place if all the christians and the muslims and the jews took their heads out of their @rses and used it to smoke pot with.

Christianity has only ONE major problem......

That would be all the lost souls that we are concerned about who will not listen to what God says through the Bible

wiccans and/or witches would fall under that category.......

The main concern is what happens in the end. If we are wrong and God doesn't exist, what is the penalty? We rot, nothing more. If you are wrong and God does exist, what is the penalty? Eternal Death in the lake of fire. Your family loves you and cares for you. No more, no less. Hope that answers your question.

The problem is that Christianity teaches them that everyone who doesn't follow Jesus is going to hell, so they think that because you are not Christian you are doomed unless they can "save your soul".

Well, since you read the bible, then you know the issues Christians have with witches- why are you asking then?
