...because...like Job...they have so much faith in God it makes Satan so envious, he does horrible things to try and make these people rebuke God?

just so you'd know Satan always wants to compete with God...especially for the souls of those who are faithful to God.

Richie...it doesn't follow that when you lose faith in churches and religions...you lost faith in God and his words also..

Usually a person that is trying to do things the way that God advises them, makes satan mad, as you say, so satan tries to discourage them from doing so, because that is what he has found to work the best, for him, (discouragement)so because he wants to prove his wicked challenge against God he brings as much misfortune upon those who are obedient to God as he can, to prove his charge to God, that mankind only obey God out of wanting something from him(life) not out of love, so since these ones are proving satan a liar God loves them.

The people who go through a lot of misfortunes and remain firm in belief of God and his love are more dear to God. And those who loose faith or go to evil ways are recorded failing in the test of belief.
It is told by prophet Mohammad pbuh that once prophet Moses asked God "Where could I find you?" God replied "Near broken hearts".

I've never understood that point of view at all. Seems to me that misfortune is a sure sign that God is either angry at you--or doesn't exist. I'm sure this answer will get a thumbs down from somebody who is going through the misfortune of being ignorant...

Who knows, you either have faith or not or you may have a good heart.
There is so much evil in this world that Satan must be working his tail off.

No.. God has no prefernece...
He loves everyone the same.
Job's story was a test, yes Satan tempted and did rotten things, but who doesn't go through that?
So in a sense you would be telling me that if I didn't loose my family, my job, my house and my car.... my parents died and my dog left... God doesn't love me as much as He loves someone that this has happened to???????

No, God doesn't play favorites.
But it is true that people who go through a lot of misfortunes are stronger for the experience.

I believe in Law Of Karma
According to it, if you do a bad thing like hurting someone physically, mentally, emotionally it comes back to you some other time or in your next incarnation.
If people are suffering it's because they have done something wrong.
A man can never get killed if he has not killed anyone in his past incarnation and present.
sometimes problems come to see how matured the person is in dealing it.
A optimist sees a situation as a stepping stone, while a pessimist sees a situation as a problem.

People who go through trouble, feel as if they are tackling their problems alone. By having faith in God they feel as if someone is there, looking out for them and what not.

by your statements (and professed beliefs) it would seem a more logical conclusion that people "who goes through alot of misfortunes are most dear to" Satan.
He is the one trying to win them over.....
If they were dear to God wouldn't they be stronger in Faith and less likely to be tempted?
... also being somewhat religious i have an issue with the thinking that some are more dear to God than others.

I am a new Christian. They say that God is just. He is equal and fair. However, there are chosen ones. You should ask your question to a Christian site.
Here: http://everystudent.com/personal.php. There are tons out there.
God bless you.
