Y'konw, I've watched Halloween when I was kid, but it wasn't until I was older that I could look past the evil intentions it was made for and actually watch and listen. Such is so with Halloween 2. In it, Mike Myers' doc speaks of something called Samhain. I'm a Spiritualist, which means I do not subscribe to religion. In my quest to understand the spiritual world, I lone to have many questions answered. So, I guess my question, naturally, would be: What is the true meaning of Samhain? Where did it come from? And is it truly something evil, as Christians would have us believe? Is it an entity or god, or simply a blessed day of some sort of ancient festivity? My Spiritualists, please help me understand, because my American country is too bastardized, by the mixing of cultures to create it's own culture, to explain any kind of truth to us. Cheers, mates.

The definition I'm referring to is short of the "burning in lakes of fire for all eternity". It is the one that defines hell as an eternal separation from God. If in the same breath, one says God is omnipresent, does that not conflict with the above definition of hell? How can one be separated from a God who is everywhere at all times? Sounds inescapable. They cannot both be true.

Please note. I would ask people not to quote scripture as or in their answers. I am familiar with the scriptures and I know what they say in this matter, I know what they mean, and I know what people THINK they mean. You have nothing to teach me on that score. I want to know what YOU think, not see how well you navigate scripture. If you champion the notion of free-will, here's your chance to demonstrate its veracity and think of your reply without looking it up in the bible or koran.

With all the problems going on in the last two decades, wehn taking or letting your kids out for Halloween, do you let them eat the candy? Do you check it out and throw away the questionable items? Do you take it to a hospital to be x-rayed (I know some hospitals have done this in the past). How careful do you check these "treats" out?

Are you concerned with bisexuality at all?

By the way, are there any Biblical quotes that deal specifically with bisexuality? Not that I'm assuming you're all Christians... I'm just wondering.

I love old shows like "I Love Lucy" and old movies such as "It's a Wonderful Life", "It's a Gift" (W.C. Fields), and of course all Marx Bros movies. Anyone else?

Money has mostly been tight for several months now for hubby and I. When our daughter went back to school, we couldn't buy her as much as I wanted to. So today, my baby sister (if you're a regular here, you know her as Avatard) shows up at my house with like 7 or 8 new outfits for her.

Was that wonderful of her or what?

Now, I am an old guy ( to some ), and I still like Hot Wheels. I buy them for my new sons all the time. But, instead of buying just two at a time, sometimes I buy three and say "one for you, one for you, and one for me". They think it is funny. But, while I am at the computer, I will take my green and white 1970 Roadrunner Hot Wheel and roll it around and go "rrrrrrrrrrr scrrrreeech" around the desk while I am trying to think. Sometimes, I pretend I am driving it. It got me to thinking about astral projection. Maybe I am driving it. Maybe I astrally project myself behind the wheel of the old Plymouth and the computer monitor is like the drive-in theater of the soul. So, tell me what you think, am I to old to play with Hot Wheels?

I've had several, and as a result, I no longer fear them. So, I guess I just want to know...what would you share with me of them.

I had an "old hag" experience once. You can search it on the Web. I told the demon that Christ commanded it to leave, and it did.

if you please, consider the vast complexities of the DNA and RNA alone, not including the embryo and all the cell structures included

is it possible, though, to MAKE a human cell with machines, all from scratch, then clone it and grow a living human? I mean, that would be the ultimate scientific achievement!

Please explain how you can make this make sense, AND how you can make this NOT sound bad.

2 Kings:19:35 And it came to pass that night, that the angel of the LORD went out, and smote in the camp of the Assyrians an hundred fourscore and five thousand: and WHEN THEY AROSE early in the morning, behold, THEY WERE ALL DEAD CORPSES.

I would like to know your honest opinion about my theory on how to prove that God exists. If God created everything from the earth to man and then created us in His image, how then can we not see creation itself. If our parents created us, their parents created them... so forth, then how is this in relation to ALL of the theories to how we got here. Whether by Darwins theory, to Organized Religions, Creation had to start somewhere. Our calendar started with Christ.. is this a fact? YES! 2007 AD (after death, BC= Before Christ) From as long as we know this calendar basis, who then did Christ try to prove He was from? Now if we can base our calendar and watch clocks off of this event of the death of Christ (which Darwin even lived by), then how can we not believe that His message was so important? Creation, proves that God exists, our timeline proves that we base our days off of Christ. My Faith shows Creation exists.
