Are you concerned with bisexuality at all?

By the way, are there any Biblical quotes that deal specifically with bisexuality? Not that I'm assuming you're all Christians... I'm just wondering.

Homosexuality and Bisexuality are natural phenomena within the realm of biology. They are neutral when it comes to reproductive success, as many gays and bi people have had and DO have kids. If a trait is not prohibitive to reproductive success (unlike a lethal gene), then it may remain in a population's genome indefinitely. Since there is no pathology resulting from the conditions, then there is no need for a cure.

I am a Bisexual Christian. I know that in the future, after I am changed for eternity, I won't have that sin in me any more. But now, I am still affected by it. I don't like being this way, but it is me. And the last thing that I should do is try to hide it from God - which would be just plain stupid to do. So I await for the day He takes it from me.

I am concerned about it, but if I ever get 'stuffy' or 'stupid' about my own righteousness, I do not have very far to look to see that I am anything but 'good' or 'righteous'. I am actually benefited by this, because as my sin humiliates me, I have an advantage over those who think themselves so good, I remain humble to God, and therefore love Him more than those who think that they are so fu'king righteous.

Jesus said, "Those who are forgiven much, love much" and so I do. I really do.

I don't believe it can be "cured"..
Regardless of what type of sin you do comment its still a sin..
We are all born into sin..
Regardless of what you did or what I did. There is still no remorse of which is better or worst.
Homosexuality is the same type of sin as stealing, lying.
Looks like you have some of the quotes from the bible.
But it talks about it alot.
Men and Men, Woman and woman.
One of the reason why Babylon fell.

I'm slightly bi-curious, but from what I can tell, homosexuals are more accepted than bisexuals. A lot of people have accepted that a person may be born one way or the other, but to swing both ways? "That's just cheating! No one's born to love BOTH sexes," say various members of my family.

The quotes do not specifically mention bisexuality but in the books of Samuel there are several quotes that mention the homosexual relationship between King David and Jonathan. we also know that David was married and had several wives so that would make him bisexual.

1 Samuel: "The soul of Jonathan was knit with the soul of David, and Jonathan loved him as his own soul ... And Jonathan stripped himself of the robe that was upon him, and gave it to David, and his garments ... and his girdle." 18:1-4

1 Samuel: "Jonathan ... delighted much in David." 19:2

2 Samuel: David says to Jonathan: "very pleasant has thou been unto me: thy love to me was wonderful, passing the love of woman." 1:26

The Bible doesn't deal with "orientation" because ancient peoples had no concept of it-- all they understood were actions. To that end, the Bible only speaks of male homosexual acts.

I don't believe homosexuality can or should be "cured" though, so I can't answer your first question. I would guess those who feel that way would just think bisexuals should only exercise the appropriate heterosexual option.

According to this site: the Bible nowhere directly mentions bisexuality. However, it is clear from the Bible's denunciations of homosexuality that bisexuality would also be considered sinful. Leviticus 18:22 describes a person having sexual relations with the same sex as an abomination. Romans 1:26-27 condemns sexual relations between the same sex as abandoning what is natural. 1 Corinthians 6:9 states that homosexual offenders will not inherit the kingdom of God. These truths apply as equally to bisexuals as they do to homosexuals.

The Bible tells us that a person becomes bisexual or homosexual because of sin (Romans 1:24-27). This does not necessarily mean sins the person has committed. Rather, it refers to sin itself. Sin warps, twists, and perverts everything in creation. Bisexuality and homosexuality are caused by sin "damaging" us spiritually, mentally, emotionally, and physically. Sin is the plague, and bisexuality is simply one of the symptoms.

Many Christians mistakenly focus on bisexuality and homosexuality as particularly evil sins. The Bible nowhere describes homosexuality as being any less forgivable than any other sin. A bisexual is the same number of steps away from salvation as the "moral" legalist - one. God offers forgiveness to anyone and everyone who will trust in Jesus Christ for salvation. This includes those involved in bisexuality. Once salvation through Christ is received, God will begin the process of destroying the acts of the flesh (Galatians 5:19-21), including any and all homosexual tendencies, and developing the fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23). The promise of a "new creation" is available to anyone who will trust in Christ (2 Corinthians 5:17).

I DONT ACCEPT ANYTHING THE BIBLE SAYS PERIOD. BUT I THOUGHT YOU'D FIND THIS INTERESTING.

Father-daughter incest near the town of Tzo'ar: In verses 30 to 38, the second story describes how Lot's two daughters got their father drunk on wine, engaged in sexual intercourse with him on two successive nights, became pregnant, and eventually gave birth to two sons Moab and Benammi. Their sons are described as founding the Moabite and Ammonite nations.
In verse 31, Lot's elder daughter suggested to the younger daughter that they engage in sexual intercourse with their father in order to procreate. Their motivation for such an unusual act was their belief that every man on earth except for their father had been killed. If they did not commit incest, then their family line would die out.
Verses 32 to 36 describe how the women got their father drunk with wine on two successive nights, and how they became pregnant without their father being aware that they had committed incest.
The last two chapters in Genesis 19 relate how the older daughter gave birth to a son who she named Moab. The younger daughter had a son called Benammi. These two sons founded the nations of Moab and Ammon who became continuous enemies of Israel.

it's doesn't matter to me. As long as your happy then that's all that matters.
And i believe that it's not what is between your legs that makes you love a person it is how the person makes you feel and if you feel a something with that person be it male or female. If your happy with the person than the gender doesn't matter.

bisexuality is a misleading term. It just a person who commits homosexual acts part of the time. The bible says that committing homosexual acts ( even part of the time) is wrong. If it can be cured it should be cured. There are many cases where it has been cured, therefore indicating that it is curable.
