Personally, I'd definetely feel "landlocked"
But if someone who hasn't lived near the water were asked that question....They would of course, say no.....And why should they?
It's like asking a person who has never had chocolate what it feels like not to have it.

I have always been "land-locked," so that is the normal state of affairs for me.
To be honest, when I visited an island, and was surrounded by ocean, it felt a bit unsafe. I was wishing for some more land to feel grounded.
I guess it all depends what you're used to.
Interesting question, though. Do you feel land locked?

I live in the middle of the country but have been to the Gulf of Mexico, L.A. and San Diego. I love the ocean and wish I was closer. However, I don't really feel land locked.

It's about 45 minutes to the English Channel from where I live. No, I don't feel landlocked. If I'd spent my life used to being much closer to the sea, however, I might well do.

I've never lived so close to the sea, so I guess I feel normal.

I'm nowhere close to an ocean and I feel fine. I'm about 800 miles from our coast is my guess. Try an aquarium; salt water.

no, because sea travel is not relatively important now a days. Anyway there is probably a body of water nearby for water recreation; i.e. lake, river, etc.
