I think that I got to see only part of it as we were going out. But at one time or other I have seen other parts. Leslie Neilson is completely "nuts!!" He is a really good actor and so is Lloyd Bridges.

Yes, my first wife and I would go to the Drive In to see them when they came out. I thought it was a waste of talent for Leslie Neilson to go comedic. He was a great serious actor in my youth.

Leslie Neilson was also in the great sci-fi flick Forbidden Planet.

I think I've only seen a couple. I have started them and find
the jokes too corny I guess, and switch to something else. I
like Leslie Nielson but not always his choice of roles. Like
Mr Magoo. Wrong casting I thought for that cartoon character.
And besides the character profile, he wasn't even old and
short. They should have gotten Danny DeVito and made him
look old and squinty eyed.
Oh well, that's just me!

Looks like I picked the wrong week to quit amphetamines....
Ah, yes, I remember. I had the lasagna.
Give me Ham on five, hold the Mayo.
"The hospital- what is it?" " It's a big building where they keep patients, but that's not important right now."
Airplane is the movie all slapstick comedies attempt to emulate. If you love Airplane try Hot Shots (Part One and Part Deux). Very funny also!

Elaine, you're a member of this crew. Can you face some unpleasant facts?

No.

It was a rough place - the seediest dive on the wharf. Populated with every reject and cutthroat from Bombay to Calcutta. It's worse than Detroit.

They dont make them like that anymore lol. I loved all of them, but one of my fav. parts was towards the end of the first movie and the little guy pulls the switch and all the lights go out on the runway and he says, 'just kidding.' Such a classic!

Loved them all! They don't make comedy like that much anymore! Nielson et al were totally hilarious and those movies were some of the few that actually made me laugh out loud!

I loved them and I also loved the way Robert Hays played his part. It takes a special kind of comedic pause to carry off a part like that.

He also did another movie that's worth a gander, if you can find it. It's called "Utilities". Another fun one.
