I don't know how to ask my parents to come.
I want them to be there for it, I just don't know how to invite them without them saying "why do you wanna be baptized?"
....That's how they are with things like this.
I plan on being baptized about a month from now, whether I get my family to show up or not. I would really like to have them there without them thinking I'm insane though.
Does anyone have any advice?

I have heard the prosperity message so much it is really making me frustrated. I have such a passion for the poor and it really makes me angry to see pastors that have people in their own church who can't buy food or pay their bills and can justify driving an Escalade with $4000 worth of wheels and tires on it and have a house that is worth more than I will make in my lifetime.
The prosperity God talks about is for us to give away. He wants to bless us so that we can bless the poor, the sick, the widows, the children.
What do you think the world is thinking when they see this misuse of God's blessing? And has anyone ever received salvation because they were impressed with a person's SUV or fancy home? That is not what my Jesus is all about. I hope that the true men and women of God will step up and speak out against this self serving prosperity message. Is this really the way God wants our tithes to be spent? Pray about it and give me your feelings on this.

Their color their body is too different and their height too. North Indians are Aryans and South Indians are Drawidian isn't it the reason for that.

I don't think people know about the fact that pakistan used to be india not long ago , and i here people saying pakistanis are better looking but how can that be? because they were indian only in 1942 ! , i mean i've been growing up in leeds/bradford all my life and i have always considered us the same.

A group of people were told sit outside of a room to wait for the person in the room to come out, because he had a present for them.

The people waited for an hour, and somebody said,"I don't think he's coming."
Somebody else said, "I don't think anybody is even in there." And he started pounding on the door.
But a few of the people started saying, "Don't knock, or you'll make him mad and he won't give us the present."
The man pounding on the door said that there was no present, and no person, or he would have come out by now.
The people who were still waiting came up with different reasons why he might still be inside. They said he might be sleeping, or he might be testing them. One girl was so sure that he was sleeping, she punched a guy who thought he was testing them. So some of them listened to the door and said that they heard movement inside.
"That could be anything," said the man pounding on the door. "Maybe there's a cat in there. And I don't even hear anything."
