Why is it that most of the saviors of all religions are all the same? Most are born of a virgin, most are born on Dec. 25th, more were betrayed and persecuted, and most resurrected. Explain to me, why Jesus is different, especially when his story is the latter of most other faiths.
Tell me why... what is your reason....

Every year Jesus’ parents went to Jerusalem for the Passover festival. When Jesus was twelve years old, they attended the festival as usual. After the celebration was over, they started home to Nazareth, but Jesus stayed behind in Jerusalem. His parents didn’t miss him at first, because they assumed he was among the other travelers. But when he didn’t show up that evening, they started looking for him among their relatives and friends.
When they couldn’t find him, they "went back" to Jerusalem to search for him there.

Do you ever get so busy that you forget your priorities as a child of God and have to "go back” the way you came in order to allow God His rightful place in your life?
Think about this today and have a great weekend.

Remember, B.U.S.Y. can mean...Being Under Satans Yoke.

Take time this weekend to evaluate your priorities and those little things that are really not important, try to break free from and cherish your time with the Lord. Drive time, etc.

If I were to write down a story about a magician who was a little crazy- and embellish it a whole lot and then claim that hundreds of witnesses saw it too - and put that in my story, and then get three other people to write the exact same story in a kind of competition - then later, a man who never even knew my main character would also be kinda crazy and get the idea that this story should be really believed -

If all the original writings of my stories were lost, but some copies were found and then a big religious group got them and selected the "best" parts and then threw out over 60% of other accounts within the story and then added to them,

Would that make my story really become true?

Wouldn't religion, hunger, war, sex, crimes of every kind just disappear? Void of emotion, what if the only concern we had was to learn?

That's what happens when we die, all the stuff we fight over or commit crimes to take, are all directly related to the physical human body. Take the body out of the equation....now what??? Could this solve a lot of our religious dilemma's? When we die, is the only difference that we cannot astrally travel back into our bodies? Could this be the answer? The one thing that we need to care about is our spirit......because it will remain after our bodies are long gone. I take solace in this.....it seems to make sense to me, what about you?

It occured to me that we are a lot like the game...You can choose to play it in freewill mode or control them yourself. We create the Sims and we give them life aspirations. Now if you let them go in freewill they survive but they are not happy Sims and get very few of their wants [ aspirations ] fulfilled. They usually run from one thing to the next trying to get what they want and need but never really getting it filled. While if their lives are controled by their creator they are happy and we [ the one who made them ] give them all their desires we possibly can to make them happy. Doesn't this sound familiar?

I am genuinely confused. I believe that he was "put to death in the flesh, but made alive by the spirit" (1 Peter 3:18) and "there is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Jesus Christ" (1 Timothy 2:5). I believe is was his physical body that was resurrected and that is what his disciples saw and touched when Jesus appeared to them after the resurrection (Luke 24:36-43).

But then he ascended to heaven, to be with his Father. As a man? Flesh and blood? I thought the heavenly realms were inhabited by spirit creatures. If God is a spirit, if the Holy Spirit is a spirit, therefore the risen Jesus must surely also be a spirit?

What do you think is the real theme behind the stories of the bible?

The theme of the bible is NOT about salvation. The theme of the bible is how mandated and legislated PROHIBITION of anything, even under the penalty of death, DOES NOT WORK!
