No, I don't understand this. My husband and I were just discussing this the other night. I was wondering why are issues such as gay marriage being voted on and not other issues. Is it because they know most people will vote against it so it takes the heat off them to make an actual decision on it? When they decide to cut government funding for education, Medicare and other social programs and put that money into the war effort that's never put up for the people to vote on.
