Well, I would save both. Then I would beat the crap out of Hitler. After I'm satisfied, I would push him back in and watch him drown. If he manages to swim, I would drown him on purpose.

The Soviets got to Berlin first, they defeated the Germans first and worst of all they were fighting 4/5 of it, and that 4/5 was the best trained. The Americans fought a tiny part of the Nazi army and didn't do that well either.

And in case you hadn't heard, it was "average Americans" that defeated Hitler.
BTW: there is really no such thing as an "average" American - there are 300 million of us - we are not all the same.
