You must enjoy being a troll. Define "Average American" - the African-American, Hispanic, Italian, Polish, German, French, Japanese, Chinese, etc., Americans? The males or the females? The college graduates? The factory workers?

Simple answers for simple minds.

Why do you think your Average American eats so many animals? They eat some meat and think "Well, at least I'm smarter than this cow was." But, as you say, the sad truth is, most Americans are not as intelligent as cows, or chickens, certainly not as smart as pigs, and barely, probably not even quite, on a level with turkeys.
