It occured to me that we are a lot like the game...You can choose to play it in freewill mode or control them yourself. We create the Sims and we give them life aspirations. Now if you let them go in freewill they survive but they are not happy Sims and get very few of their wants [ aspirations ] fulfilled. They usually run from one thing to the next trying to get what they want and need but never really getting it filled. While if their lives are controled by their creator they are happy and we [ the one who made them ] give them all their desires we possibly can to make them happy. Doesn't this sound familiar?

I have freewill but I have turned it over to God who controls me, that is not as bad or restrictive as some think it is. I have not regretted that choice, and even when I fall He still picks me up and we keep going.

Sounds like a Stepford society to me...

I'll take the freedom to make my own choices and I'm very happy and fulfilled with that.

... its a game, thats all. Btw, there's a huge difference. In real life there's no evidence that any god exists in any form, in the game, the characters are aware of you at a fundamental level, and will turn and wave and even talk to you to let you know if they want something they're not getting. meaning the characters in the game are fully aware of you.

So how about you Christians stop the desperate tactics to try to get people to accept your fantasies?

if we are controlled
then that happiness is a false happiness

slaves were controlled ... but they made the most of things , smiled each day in the presence of each other
didnt mean they liked the situation though
