Congratulations. Everyone is new to their religion at some point so please don't listen to the people who want to do nothing but put you down. You were drawn to Catholicism for a reason and you should follow that. Please remember to respect all religions whether you believe in their ways of worship or not. This is the most important thing you could ever learn. Now that I have rambled you can go to any Catholic church and tell them of your decision to become Catholic. Generally you will be put into a class with people of your age group who are also becoming members. I wish you the best of luck in yur journey.

"i know about pretty much everything catholics believe in,"
Apparently you don't know much about it or you wouldn't be asking questions like how to pray the rosary, lent, how to pray in general.
I would recommend contacting a local catholic church and doing much more studying into their beliefs and their history before commiting yourself.
Good luck. I hope you find a path that suits your needs.

Hilarious. All the religions in the world and you chose the craziest, most nonsensical of them all. They must've had a very lavish brochure.
There will be a person along, named "imacatholic2" who happens to be very knowledgeable insofar as Catholicism is concerned.
My advice? When looking into 'which hokey religion to follow,' take care to understand what exactly you're doing. You're picking out a belief system, like..shopping for one. Do you not find something fundamentally flawed with that idea? My advice is to not follow any faith, any religion, and to develop your own spiritual and moral compass. You seem like a reasonably smart girl, I'm sure anything you devise would be infinitely better than that which was developed thousands of years ago by unevolved and uneducated masses.

plz AHTIESTS, calm yourselves
she wants to learn about being a catholic, she chose that path so let her learn about it, not why she shouldnt be christian or catholic
there is nothing wrong with having a strong faith in god
now about the rosary, the church should have a rosary with a booklet with a list of prayers, and how you can pray
you should attend church services, and follow peoples examples
the best way to learn is to go to a church, and maybe take lessons

Good luck hon.
You would need to talk personally to an adult Catholic or priest; Yahoo R&S is a bad place to ask advice on this topic.

Dear, new to religion, I'm also Catholic, and I need to tell you, that sometimes, we do have everything in our hands, to learn, because God mysteriously have already put in our reach all the tools we need to do so.
and you do, whatever< memorise what you just said in your letter, to nite, and repeat each word, the way you wrote it, make sure to add the same minning you have been so elocuent to express in this Question...... HIM(God), will listen, HIM talk me so. and if HIM (God), doesn't answer, because HIM(God), is a busy man, when you go to sleep, try his Son, because religion is Jesus bussiness. although your life, and any of your own decitions in life, are God's businees. My blessing to you, and welcome to the Catholic religion.

I heavily advise you to research all religions before you choose to label yourself. Although any beleif in God is excellent, you dotn want to be dragged into somethign that brings a whole load of other things into it that devieate from the truth of God. As long as you fear God, beleive in the last day and do you then you will not fear on the day of judgement.

Do you really want to devote your whole life to praying to and honoring someone who you'll never ever see or feel or meet?
Despite what many religious people will tell you, you DO NOT need a religion to "complete" your life.
Just live your life in a way that will not harm others and just with that you are doing something productive for everyone.

I strongly advise against it. My personal beliefs are found on www.joyofsatan.com
This is not for everyone, but at least check out www.pocm.info
That site will explain exactly why NOT to be catholic or christian.
