I am writting a book. It is about a futuristic society that is being brainwashed by the ruler. His father was the first to start brain washing people when he was the ruler, now its his turn. But he is different, he was born with his own mind. He invents new machiens that takes over people's brains and makes them bow down to him. The book is about a girl who was born with a mind of her own, and how she is taken to another world (our world) she lives with a family who has just lost a wife and a mother. The ruler took her to the hospital to get her brain fixed, but the only hostpital was in the other world (our world) the doctor (who she ends up living with) is determined to help her, so he takes her to his house to live after she tells him how the ruler slapped her. Right now in my book, she just arvived and she doesnt know anything about this place. What should happen next, there is so much for her to learn! Thanks!

my 6 year old daughter taught me something today...
that no matter how silly something seems ... if you want to do it , then just do it

last week my daughter wrote a silly child like letter to Queen
we made an envolope out of paper and sticky tape
she wrote
Dear Queen Elizabeth
thank you for protecting our country
with love from Katana

she gave me it ... and for days I had this letter in my bag
no stamp , and just addressed to the Queen , London
guilt got the better of me and i just quickly popped it in the post box and almost ran away feeling silly lol
well this morning Katana recieved a letter from Buckingham Palace
thanking her for her kind thoughts
isnt that something ?

shouldnt we all be like children ?
whatever you wish to do , whatever dreams you have
just do it

In numerous instances in the Qur’an, Allah speaks in first person, plural, such as in 49:13 (translated to English by Shakir): “O you men! surely We have created you of a male and a female, and made you tribes and families that you may know each other; surely the most honorable of you with Allah is the one among you most careful (of his duty); surely Allah is Knowing, Aware.”

Here are some more examples which came from part of the second book only wherein Allah is plural:
2:3 – We have given them …
2:23 – We have revealed …
2:34 – We said to the angels …
2:35 - We said: O Adam!
2:36 – We said: Get forth …
2:38 – We said: Go forth from this all.
2:49 – We delivered you from Firon’s (Pharaoh’s) people.
2:50 – We parted the sea for you.
2:51 – We appointed a time of forty nights with Musa (Moses).
2:52 – We did forgive you.
2:53 – We gave Musa (Moses) the Book …

"Learn this from the waters:
In mountain clefts and chasms,
Loud gush the streamlets,
But great rivers flow silently.

Empty things make a noise,
The full is always quiet.
The fool is like a half-filled pot,
The wise man like a deep still pool"

In my cnet email letter already they are saying about making sure in future of backing up your files in case this (the Californian Fires) should happen to you? and I understand that some insurance firms are up to that as well and putting up premiums already. I find it all a bit distasteful myself! Greed or not - what are your (no bad language etc please and please read my question properly before answering, thank you)views?

Why is it that America still has, and does it as one of rather few countries in world, death penalty. How a country with so many religious people can find that correspond with the basic message in the Bible is impossible to understand for me.

What's cooking for Thanksgiving Dinner this year? We are having turkey of course (lol), sweet ham with honey and pineapple, stuffing, mashed potatoes and extra gravy, honey, buttered corn on the cob, homemade biscuits, spanish rice, pasteles, penin, sweet potatoe pies, apple pies, ice cream, potatoe salad, apple cider, beer, fruit punch, and a comfortable recliner to crash out and sleep in...the house will be crowded!

For me, number one is Rees Howells. He was a Welsh miner who lived an unbelievable life and reading about his life changed mine. I can honestly say that reading his biography was probably the single biggest turning point for me in my Christian life. He truly *lived* intercession --- not just in prayer but also in action, and his faith was unbelievable. He also taught me what it means to be like Jesus in terms of doing things the world hates and not defending yourself, and following the Holy Spirit.

Also, I loved reading the stories of Brother Yun and John "Praying" Hyde. Madame Guyon and Brother Lawrence's autobiographies also really inspired me. What about you and why?

Thanks ! :)

It's all very confusing. My boyfriend decided he was really a girl. So he went and had some shots and implants, but he still has all the guy stuff. And it still works real well. So, at what point is he my girlfriend?

You forgived a person who did many wrong to you, but when you did a wrong to that person, that person will not forgive you no matter how many times you try to make things right.
For example, Bill have done many bad things to Joe. Bill alway tells Joe and others as well to forgive. Joe can forgive Bill a million times. But, when Joe did something bad to Bill, Bill can't forgive Joe even though Joe apologizes alot to Bill. Can anyone explain this?

I feel that if celebrities spent a month in the ghetto living the ghetto life they would straighten out real quick. After spending a day at the welfare office, working for chump change at jobs that they hate, they would appreciate their blessed lives and get their act together.

I live in a one bedroom apartment with my husband and daughter. Despite going to college I don't earn enough to move to a bigger place. I have to think about the cost of everything I buy even down to toilet paper. I thought by now I would be living the American Dream. Why can't I just be happy with getting by?
