Not a good role that is for sure. Fear is of the unknown. If one has FAITH then fear should not enter one's life. To be fearful of something you cannot change is not good either. It is a waste of time and energy. I personally believe that Satan uses fear to confuse GOD'S children and lose FAITH in HIM. I try to not allow fear to inhabit my heart or soul. It is not good for me. Hope this has helped. Blessings

I use fear, all the time to keep me motivated, and on the right track. I live on the edge, pushing myself, very hard spiritually. Like anyone who push the edge in any area, a great respect for fear is important. Without this fear, one becomes less vigilant, and that is when accidents happen. I fear failure, so I keep trying real hard not to miss opportunities, and to be prepared in case one is about to present itself to me. Fear is our ally, get comfortable with it and use it to your benefit.

As an Atheist I've taught myself that living in FEAR of not existing is a frivolous one. I didn't mind not existing before I was born, why would I mind not existing after I die?

Fear taught me to love and trust in my Lord, Jesus Christ.
When I was full of fear, He was at my side. When I could no longer handle the fear, He removed it.

Fear taught me just how much Jesus loves me!
