will it affect my spiritual progress?

No because nothing is inherently evil. Evil isn't a natural force and I feel that believing in such things only brings about fear which does not enhance one's spiritual path. Thank you for your wonderful questions, Aum! Good to see you as always.

Also: It doesn't really allow us to take personal responsibility. We can always turn to something to blame it on which isn't a really bringing about the right conditions for true growth.

If there was no evil or Satan, then why did Jesus die?
We all are sinners. We are not good people.
Jesus loves us so much that He died on the cross for our sins. Those that will believe will go to heaven. Those that won't believe will go to hell, the place where Satan is. Jesus conquered Satan when He died on the cross. If you believe in Christ you will go to heaven.
If there is no evil, why are there criminals?
This is a law. It doesn't matter whether you believe it or not, it is still applicable.
Take the law of gravity, for example. If I don't believe in gravity, does that mean it's not real? Does that mean I don't have to pay for the consequences of my moves? No, It just means that if I jump out the window, I won't fly like I would expect to, but I would break my neck and die.
Same here. If you don't believe in God, Satan, or evil, that doesn't mean it's not there or it's not applicable to you. It just means that it's gonna hit you pretty hard. And believe me, it ain't gonna be pretty.
Look, Jesus cares. (John 3:16). Would you surrender to Him today?

You are on the right track, but the slope is slippery.

This is a paraphrase of the oral tradition by the Jewish priest during the time of Jesus. Because it is expressed in different ways in his teachings, one may believe he was taught this in his Jewish faith.

"Yea! Who is the initiate to the academy on high? It is the righteous! Yea! Who is the righteous? It is the one who does not know sin or evil!"

Notice! It does not say one who does no sin or evil. That is next to impossible. For even one who follows rigorously the rites and rituals of his religion will be found to be un-righteous by those of a different religion. Heck! Look what they did to Jesus! OUCH! So righteousness in this instance, is then the indwelling spirit of Man before the fall. Before eating of the tree of knowledge of good and evil. This type of righteousness then is one of the first revelations given to the enlightened.

But as I say it is a slippery slope. There will be many who rail against you for their understanding is such that they can not comprehend the reasoning behind such a thing.

If you feel you are on to something, pray, meditate, open your heart. The seeker shall be filled.

There is certainly an element of truth in the direction of your statement.

Continue to knock and it will open for you.

There is much that I could say.....but for the sake of brevity, lets leave it where it is for now.

Blessings and peace to all,
All in all,
B

being blinded to the
reality of Satan and his

As long as you do NOT
believe, the Darfurs and

will go on and the Anti-

Satan and his evil children are very real. Wake up!

Mat 13:37 He answered and said unto them, He that soweth the good seed is the Son of man;

Mat 13:38 The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one;

Mat 13:39 The enemy that sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers are the angels.

Mat 13:40 As therefore the tares are gathered and burned in the fire; so shall it be in the end of this world.

I would say yes. Because if you don't believe in satan or evil how can you believe in God and the good things?

Yes. If you don't believe in what the Bible teaches and you claim to be a Christian, then it will.

Also, if evil exists and you choose to ignore it, then it is a spiritual blind spot of immense proportions and subjects you to great danger.

If you didn't believe in cliffs or holes, razor blades or broken glass, would it affect your physical progress? To know what is harmful is to know what course one should take to avoid it so as to progress in a safe and productive manner.

If there's no Satan is no fear.If there's no fear you can learn more by putting yourself in more lessons on this Earth, so I guess Satan is created for those who didn't rich a precis level.
For a child who don't understand yet the consequences of his acts the parents create some scary things, isn't it?

satan or evil is just a behavioural phenomenon, that is present in all of us. spiritualist is based on the belief of god or rejection of satan. it is beyond both. when there is no satan or god, then the actual journey of spirituality begins.

If there is no evil, then everything is good, right? So what is your "spiritual progress" taking you toward, or away from?

If you don't believe in it, then you can't recognize evil influences that can lead you in the wrong direction.
