Get some plastic sheeting for your floor. This one is messy! Fix some strong string up across two points across your room or get 2 adults to hold it up. Using iced doughnuts fix a length of string through each doughnut and tie them to the string across the room (like a washing line). Make the kids put their hands behind their backs and then they have to eat the doughnut using only their mouths - no hands allowed - have a couple of adults supervising so there's no cheating. The first one to finish the doughnut is the winner! Now can you see why you need the plastic sheeting! It's a very fun game even tho everyone who has a go gets really sticky. You don't have to use doughnuts any cake will do as long as its really sticky. Dunking for apples, Pass the Parcel but make sure there is a little something under every layer so all the kids get something, Musical Statues - play some music and then stop it and the kids have to stay really still, the first one that moves is "out" and so on until there's only 1 left. Get a big cardboard box and fill it with sawdust, buy a load of Halloween type goodies and wrap them up individually, as the kids come in for the party get them to find a gift in the sawdust filled box. Have someone who can do face paints come in and paint the kids faces in ghoulish ways but check with the parents first coz some kids can be allergic to face paints. Also, check with parents that none of their kids are allergic to nuts or anything before you organise the food. You don't want an emergency happening due to an allergic reaction. Have fun!

Apple dunking place apples in water and have to get them out using teeth only.
I made a huge saucepan of pasta and added green food colouring drained lovely slime green yuk kids love and put things in it to fish out.
Pin the broomstick on the witch or you can buy a skeleton from pound shop and you could play pin a hat on skeleton.
Pass the parcel with sweets in plenty of Halloween sweets about and something from pound shop related to Halloween at end.
Musical status is a good game with creepy music and make room dark for more fun.
You can make jellies to eat and put jelly shaped horror things in to eat.
Just think of all the nasty slime things and you cant go wrong kids love creepy nasty slime stuff lol
decorate pound shop have fantastic stuff in paintings to put up webbing to make cobwebs around room, pumkins that glow in dark, even have creepy music cd for a quid.
Have fun and most important make room creepy lol

A lot depends on the ages of the kids. If they are little, thowing bean bags into a pumpkin, decorating pumpkins, pinning the witches hat on her (like pin the tail on the donkey), a race carrying fake plastic eyeballs on a spoon, pass the pumpkin (like musical chairs but when the spooky music ends the one holding the pumpkin is out), scrambled words using halloween things.

terrific frightening face contest. terrific spooky sound or scream or evil chuckle contest. muhahahahaha!! gown contest with MANY categories; ideally, each youngster wins for some thing. Have the babies describe their gown; be waiting to help out by utilising asking them questions. Pumpkin coloring (i think carving is in basic terms too lots for little babies). Spooky tale circle; surely everyone says ONE sentence. many times, memories are humorous no longer frightening ;) Dance contest to Monster Mash and/or it relatively is a ineffective guy's occasion. Musical chairs (or sq. sitting) is an decision on condition that costumes enable. A relay race with eggs, peeled grapes, coiled and oiled spaghetti, small candies etc. on spoons to a "cauldron".

Depends on how old kids are, if they can take a joke, put water and apples in a bowl and put it in front of them then the person going first to try to get an apple with their mouth, put a blind fold on and change the bowl for one with porridge and apples in, cruel but funny as hell

duck apple is a great game for kids and adults, fill a bowl with water put apples in and blind fold the person who's turn it is they have to grab the apples with their mouth, try its is fun.
