I think that is a question best asked in sincere prayer to God.

If you believe that Christ did exist and was everything he said he was, then by default you have to believe that the church he organized was THE true and ONLY true church.

So if the mormon church is the true church as it claims then it would have to have all the elements of the church that Christ created.

As far as I know, there are NO contridictions between what the Mormons practice and what is taught in the Bible- everything from having the same organization (prophets, apostles, elders, teachers, etc.), sacred clothing(mormon magic underwear), even polygamy(although not explicitly in the new testament, but is never taught against). Almost every practice that the mormons have been criticized for was practiced by holy men in both the Old and/or New testaments.

The only contradictions found are when you compare the teachings and practices of the mormons with other contemporary Christian churches and not the church spoken of in the bible.

Then again if you dont believe that Christ was who he is taught to be, then no, there is not a True church in Christianity, just good people.

I believe so. Not that every other church is necessarily wrong, but only the LDS church has the fullness of the gospel.

For evidence of this I cite 1 Corinthians 15:29. This demonstrates that baptism for the dead was practiced widely in the early church only 20 years after Christ's resurrection. But the practice was lost as corrupt men began preaching "another gospel" and the church fell into apostasy.

In 1830 all the old doctrines, teachings, practises and authority were restored in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. This is the only church on earth practising baptism for the dead. QED.

Every Church claim to be the only true church. At least one of these claims is false.

Is this a poll or a question? Actually this is a push poll. Ask opinions designed to get your own answer.

I prefer to say the LDS church has the fullness of the Gospel. Heavenly Father is a living, loving God who talks to us in the same manner he always has. Unless a church has the living, flowing waters of revelation, it can not have all the Father wishes us to know.

No they are not the one and only church of God .The human body is the true home of the spiritual soul in man.Only a mental midget would think that the church is the only way to salvation.

How do their doctrines line up with what the Bible says?
The Church that God designed has members that are born again of the water and of the spirit. That is being baptized by immersion in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of our sin and receiving the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in tongues. We can't put a name on this as there are people all over the world, of many denominations that have experienced this.

Don't you know by now that if anyone or anything make claims to being 'the one and only' .... they're not?

There's no 'one-true-church' and there's no 'closing-out sale'.

People use propaganda to 'sell' their products.
