Numbers 23:19 "God is not a man, that he should lie..."

The strong delusion to which your quote refers, comes from the antichrist and will deceive those who "refused to love the truth and so be saved" (2 Thessalonians 2:10). Because they have already refused to love the truth, God uses that sin of unbelief to punish them, so that they may belive the lie

No! He cannot actually lie because his very name means "He causes to become" World wide his name in many translations is Jehovah=He causes to become.
Most of the problems discussed here and other places are caused by miss understandings. People will write what they interpret, not allowing for the more than 30,000 changes in the KJV 1611 version till now. Yes many of the changes were needed because people's lifestyles change.
Let me give you just one example. What did "gay" mean in the 1800's? What does it mean now?
Another? When the bible was put together there was no Greek word for "A" god, so many miss interpret it to mean Jesus is the Devinne God. However, it does say that God worked "through" him, showing his father to be the Devinne one."Jehovah".

It was satan who brought those things . He was allowed to do it because of their sin. Just as satan does these things today.
God has to allow it, because it is your choice.

When you sin, and do not repent for it, you open the door to satan and his demons. Again..if you read the scripture before this one..the answer is there.

10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. 11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie.

They refused to repent for their sin and refused to come to Jesus Christ to be saved, therefore deception has come upon them, which comes upon those who refuse today.

If you knew the Bible and understood why, this would make sense to you. However taking it out of context, including the context in Revelations makes God look like a liar. Those who choose Satan over God in the second coming, after God has done all he can, he will make them believe that they have made the right choice so they will no longer waffle. There is more explanation of this in the Bible as well. Taking one verse and using it to your advantage is what false Christians do to get people turned to their way, Satan does the same.

Not only does he lie. Genisis: "If thou eat of the fruit of this tree, thou shalt die". He is also contradictory, and ambiguious.
God cannot be seen. john 1:18; exodus 33:20
god has been seen. genisis 18, exodus 24:9-11, 33:11 32:20, isaiah 6:1

god cannot and has never been heard by anybody. john 5:37
but he spoke to moses exodus 33:11

concerning jesus's genealogies. He has two Mathew 1:1 and Luke 3:23
one lists 27 ancestors, plus jesus, the other totals 43. six names are common on both lists, all the others are completely different.
If jesus was born of a virgin, why is his genealogy traced thru joseph in both cases? if his conception was immaculate, joseph has nothing to do with it, therefor, jesus descendants should be traced thru mary. It is only traced thru joseph for jesus to meet the prophetic requirement that he be from the line descending from david.

No, God never lies. He does however allow Satan to deceive people into believing lies or allow people to believe lies.

Hebrews 6:18 so that by two unchangeable things, in which it is impossible for God to lie, we who have fled for refuge might have strong encouragement to hold fast to the hope set before us.

Revelation 12:9 And the great dragon was thrown down, that ancient serpent, who is called the devil and Satan, the deceiver of the whole world--he was thrown down to the earth, and his angels were thrown down with him.

10 And I heard a loud voice in heaven, saying, "Now the salvation and the power and the kingdom of our God and the authority of his Christ have come, for the accuser of our brothers has been thrown down, who accuses them day and night before our God.

Romans 1:19 For what can be known about God is plain to them, because God has shown it to them. 20 For his invisible attributes, namely, his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly perceived, ever since the creation of the world, in the things that have been made. So they are without excuse.

21 For although they knew God, they did not honor him as God or give thanks to him, but they became futile in their thinking, and their foolish hearts were darkened. 22 Claiming to be wise, they became fools, 23 and exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images resembling mortal man and birds and animals and reptiles.

24 Therefore God gave them up in the lusts of their hearts to impurity, to the dishonoring of their bodies among themselves, 25 because they exchanged the truth about God for a lie and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever! Amen.

If you've read your bible, then you remember the story of Eve and the tree of knowledge. Now you're welcome to correct me if I'm wrong, but as I recall, the only non-liar in that story was .... the serpent.

Remember?

God's lie: "Eat that fruit and you WILL die."
Eve's lie: "No, I didn't eat it. Sigh. Okay, I ate it. But it was the serpent's fault."
Adam's lie: "No, I didn't eat it. Well, okay, I did eat it -- but it was HER fault."
