Absolutely not. When you submit to God and He forgives you of your sins, He remembers no more.

I don't know about that anti-Baptist comment up there (and we totally disagree with the Mormons), but let me explain something to you. Before Jesus came into the world, the people were to follow the Law that God had sent down the mountain with Moses. And a lot of other laws, too! But after Jesus came, things changed. Jesus ushered in the Age Of Grace. Because He died on the cross for the sins of the world, the Bible teaches that the Law became void due to the great love of God having sent His only Son into the world for our sins. The "curse" that you speak of is found in the Old Testament and has no bearing on your walk with God today. Besides, don't we have enough sins of our own to keep us occupied without worrying about other people's sins, let alone what an ancestor may have done? And YES! The 10 Commandments are wonderful, but when Jesus came, He gave us TWO to replace the ten. The first is to "love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, soul and mind and the second is like unto it, that thou lovest thy neighbor as thyself. This fulfills all the Law and the prophets." Jesus said this. Letters in red. If you have repented, you are a child of God and no one can take that away from you as you are held within His Hand.

Your sin does not affect only you. Sin stays in a particular bloodline for up to 3-4 generations. That is why sin is so ugly and damaging. We each reap what we sow. Let's say a murderer repents and is born again. God promises that this man has been saved, but guess what? He still must serve his prison sentence.

Maybe the "curse of your ancestors" if there is one is that they dwell in you. Only you know if you have purged them out of yourself.

so convenient this jesus that people teach that doesn't require you to change and purge yourself that doesn't teach the legitimacy of the 10 commandments and forgiving people just because they don't want to go to hell but don't desire to come out of it either
it is a lie

Once when you come to Christ, we are free from any curse of sin and bondages. But Satan can claim on you about the sins of your ancestors before the Throne of God to attack you.
So if you doubt any curses remains, you just rebuke and break that curse in the name of Jesus Christ before Satan, you and God. It will broken that instance. Then again if satan points it to you, just tell him directly, you are free of it. Don't accuse me Satan!! simple...

No, you are not responsible for anything your ancestors did. You are responsible only for your relationship in Jesus. If you have repented, you are saved.

YES GOD MAKES US PAY FOR OUR ANCESTORS'S INIQUITY

Isaiah 14:21-24:

21Prepare slaughter for his children for the iniquity of their fathers; that they do not rise, nor possess the land, nor fill the face of the world with cities.

22For I will rise up against them, saith the LORD of hosts, and cut off from Babylon the name, and remnant, and son, and nephew, saith the LORD.

23I will also make it a possession for the bittern, and pools of water: and I will sweep it with the besom of destruction, saith the LORD of hosts.

24The LORD of hosts hath sworn, saying, Surely as I have thought, so shall it come to pass; and as I have purposed, so shall it stand:

Exodus21:16

And he that stealeth a man, and selleth him, or if he be found in his hand, he shall surely be put to death.

Why would you carry a generational curse anyway? I simply don't understand your question.

Jesus powers over any curse. Trust Him. He will prove it to you. He did to me.
