The Rapture is contrary to the teaching of Christ. When "one is taken away" is translated into something nice, it is erroneous to believe when a great tribulation is spoken of in the sentence preceding it. It won't be pretty. the Great Tribulation will take place after the next two popes. Prepare yourself. Look not unto things of this world.

According to Bible Prophecy anytime now! Jesus will step out on a cloud and call all of His Saints home, the dead in Christ will rise first.
AND THEN ALL HELL WILL BREAK LOOSE!
Russia and Iran along with a few Muslim Countries will attack Israel, then the E.U. and USA along with Egypt will all fight and then 200 Million men will march across the Euphrates River in Iraq, this will be China.
This will last seven long years, known as The Battle of Armageddon.
The blood will be so deep it will be up to a horse bridle.

On a Feast of the Trumpets. Maybe not next year, but on some year soon.
Because God is a God of 'Set Times' ( or Appointed Times ) , translated 'Feasts' in the Bible.

There will be no rapture:
• Jn. 17:15 - “I do not ask that you take them out of the world but that you keep them from the evil one”
Rapture believers find comfort because they think they will scape the tribulation: Ha! Ha! The bible proves them wrong:
• 1 Pet. 1:6 - for a while you must suffer various trials
• Mt. 10:38 - whoever does not take up his cross and follows after me is not worthy of me
• Lk. 9:23-24 - Then he said to all, "If anyone wishes to come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me.
• Phil. 1:28-29 - For it has been granted to you on behalf of Christ not only to believe on him, but also to suffer for him.
So get prepared to suffer. The righteous will stay:
• Act. 14:22 - They [Paul and Barnabas] strengthened the spirits of the disciples and exhorted them to persevere in the faith, saying, "It is necessary for us to undergo many hardships to enter the kingdom of God."
• Rom. 8:16-17 - ...we are children of God, ...heirs, heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if only we suffer with him so that we may also be glorified with him
• Lk. 17:26 - And as it came to pass in the days of Noah, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man - In the days of Noah the ones left were the righteous
