If followers of every religion in the world have their own way of rationalizing their religion as being true, doens't it make every religion equally fake? Take for instance, Buddhism, Hinduism, Islam, Christianity (which can be divded into Catholism, Protestant, Ortodox, etc.,...). And there are many other minor religions and cults ofcourse. No matter what is thrown at them, they have a way of rationalizing it! And somehow they are convinced that their belief is correct?! Isn't it funny that those of different religions can see through the absubities of other religions but can't see the absubities within their own! The point is, at best, only one religion could be true! Or ( which is the truth ) none of the religions is true! But since every religion can rationalize their own belief as being true, how can you be so sure that your belief is actually true?!

There is much debate between whether Catholics are going to heaven, as some denominations see them as being part of the occult and not a valid Christian denomination.

Today, I had a couple of friends over. I served some snacks---corn chips, bean dip, beer, soda, and salsa. Well, this food had some---ahem---adverse effects on my friend Sam. He started farting. At one point, he tore one off that was so loud that one of the girls thought there was a drive-by shooting going on outside. When she found out what it really was, she got mad at my friend Sam.

Question is, has anything like this ever happened to you? Have you ever gotten "gassed up" while in a public place and had to choose between letting it go or restraining yourself?

Have you ever performed the Hajj? If so, can you tell me your experiences during the Hajj season? What part of Hajj impressed you the most?

Insya Allah, I will be going for the Hajj this year. I am excited, and I would like to hear from those who already went for the Hajj.
I require advice from my brothers and sisters here!

Oh, and please star this, and feel free to remove it after an hour. I just like many answers, probably that's why I ask people to star each time I ask a question. lol.

May Allah S.W.T guide us all..

would it necessarily follow that this creator would have to be the Christian God instead of some other God or Gods? If you say faith, how do you account for the fact that millions of other religious people also have faith in beliefs that directly contradict yours?

So I pose a question 10 minutes prior imitating a typical uneducated Christian (many are highly intelligent of course) and I get close to 30 angry replies and counting!
An intelligent individual would not waste time constantly refuting the same garbage. 1000 people are going to say the same thing tomorrow. What significance is there in pointing out the obvious to someone who cannot and probably will not see it?
And also, I've posted many questions and answered hundreds of questions from the atheist perspective. Not one person recognised me or was skeptical or expressed any doubt in the authenticity of the question. I pulled out every foolish view in the book.
Perhaps seeing someone raise childlike views is what you hunger for, so you can stomp them into the ground? Pure egotism isn't it? And of what price in time? Of what value is it because as I said previously, they'll always be more to take their place.
An endless chore with no benefit. It does indulge arrogance though.

Hi

last monday, we were all listening to our teacher until we heard a cry in the right side of the room, all of my classmates paused and later realized that none of us were the one that was crying, the cry came from a the vaccant area in the right side of the room, it was kinda weak, but few seconds later the cry became louder and louder then we pause, prayed and the crying stopped but few minutees after the prayer we heard the cry again, and our teacher dismissed the class.... What does this means?

THE HEBREW WORD translated “God” throughout the Old Testament is the word Elohim. This word appears 2570 times. Some have said that because this word is a plural noun, it indicates that God is a plural being, that He is one God, yet simultaneously three distinct divine persons – the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit...the trinity. But in Hebrew, plurality not only indicates more than one, it also indicate bigness or greatness or vastness. For example, the word mayim meaning “water” is also a plural form. So is shamayim meaning “heaven.” Heaven is big!
Genesis 1:1 says, “In the beginning God created....” The verb “created” is in the singular form, proving that Elohim is intended to be taken as a singular noun. When Elohim was first translated into Greek by Jewish scholars, they selected the word Theos, which is a singular noun. They never used Theoi, the plural form, which is translated “gods.”

1. If God is willing but unable to prevent evil, he is not omnipotent

2. If God is able but not willing to prevent evil, he is not good

3. If God is willing and able to prevent evil, then why is there evil?

I'd like to hear your thoughts on this. However, please note that I'm not trying to prove that God doesn't exist, I'd just like to know how some of you would react.

Especially interested in the Muslim response as this is exactly what Muhammad did. If Muhammad was correct then if another spirit disagrees with the Qu'ran they should trust the spirit rather than the Qu'ran. It's Qu'ranic. Gabriel told Mary she was to give birth to the Son of God. Now for some reason another spirit says he is Gabriel and Jesus is not the Son of God. Now should another spirit come and say he is Gabriel and Jesus is the Son of God...I supose the Muslim thing to do is change their opinion everytime a spirit tells them something.
the true God prevents such silliness by having a spirit tested against his word If the angel disagrees with God it is not an angel of God. Any prophet of God would know this is a demon that disagrees with God's word. Muhammad did not follow the word of God and could not have been a prophet of God.
