Care to finish the thought?
As it stands, I can say that human beings are social animals. But we all know that . . . so what are you really asking?

Whatever you believe about our origins, you must agree that humans are a social species (or created for each other if you prefer). Relationships are the basis for everything we believe and do. We learn speech to communicate with one another. Human children are dependent on their parents far longer than other mammal species. We can't live without each other, no matter how badly we relate to one another at times.
So I agree with the statement.

I kind of wish you had explained why you don't believe this. It's possible for humans to live all alone in complete isolation but not very natural, certainly not very common. We are very gregarious animals and we suffer from terrible loneliness if we are all alone.
I don't believe we are 'created' for a particular purpose. Or that we are 'designed', for instance, to eat food or sleep 8 hrs a night or whatever. Certainly not just to procreate--what is the use of that?
But we do undeniably have certain qualities, certain traits--what we call 'human nature'. I think relating to each other, fitting into relationships, is part of that, family relationships, friends, lovers, spouses, etc.etc.

stay in a deserted island for a month and prove it wrong. any kind of interaction could already be construed as a relationship. being alone in a group of people is described as peaceful co-existence. if you mean in a romantic relationship, then that's a different thing. not all are destined to be with another person romantically. but if you mean, being a loner, hermit type, then i don't agree with you. the teaching in my religion is that God created eve to be with adam because adam was lonely.

Are you asking if we were created just to be in a relationship or that we were created period?
Personally, I don't agree with either.

"Humans are created for _______________"
Anyone can put anything in the blank and they can't prove themselves right and they can't be proved wrong.
I think Stephen Hawking summed this question up best with his famous last statement in "A Brief History of Time" :
"... why it is that we and the universe exist. If we find the answer to that, it would be the ultimate triumph of human reason -- for then we should know the mind of God."
If you get this answer right you'd know the mind of God!

Besides the fact that it lacks 'verb - predicate agreement,' I agree with it. Humans are created to be social creatures. We travel in packs. We crave companionship. When we are alone, we tend to create imaginary friends to ease the lonliness.
Humans are created for social interaction.

God created Eve for a partner to Adam, is that not a relationship?
Gen 1:27 And God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
Gen 1:28 And God blessed them: and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it; and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the birds of the heavens, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.
God Bless

,This is an AGREE! In the beginning there were "two". On Noah's ark, they came by "two". A pair!
That is what a relationship is for "two". Maybe we should go back to the old days and make relationship's for two,
