my moms b-day is this sunday the 19th, i have no idea what to give her and I barely have any money. Anyone know any good b-day presents for $20 or under? She is turning 50 (not proud of it) and is very picky.

Take her out for dessert and coffee at a really nice expensive restaurant.

Treat her to pedicure or manicure.

Buy her a bottle of rose champagne and toast her. Rose Regala is nice red champagne that goes great with bittersweet chocolate dipped strawberries. The champagne is $15 and the strawberries should be about $2 each.

Buy her a Rose Bush - then she can plant it in the garden and it will grow more beautiful every year - just like her tell her! In the UK you can buy one for less than five pounds (around $10) and you may even find one with a special name. If she doesn't have a garden - then maybe a photo album just for her 50th celebrations, she can keep her birthday cards in it and any photos taken on the day. They are varied prices for these. I hope your Mum's birthday is very special. Enjoy!

a miles less high priced yet spectacular present I made for my mom 12 months became a scrapbook, ok corny confident yet she cried constantly a stable sign. I placed previous photos and notes I wrote as a new child, and so on. yet another genuine stable one is supply her an afternoon on the spa extra decrease priced then a megastar regardless of the undeniable fact that it will make her experience like one.

A card expressing how much you love her. Then put a piece of paper in there that's a coupon for cleaning the house this month. Mom's love it when they don't have to clean.

For my 50th birthday my kids made a photo montage of my life. They got photos from my mum and mixed them in with family photos of themselves with me and their dad. It was in an inexpensive frame and they all signed it. It was lovely and now adorns our family room wall. For their dad's birthday they got similar photos of him as a child and through his life too and set them to music on a dvd that we can play on the TV. Again very inexpensive but worth so much to us! You could make some popcorn and sit Mum down to her very own dvd of "This is Your Life".
