Especially interested in the Muslim response as this is exactly what Muhammad did. If Muhammad was correct then if another spirit disagrees with the Qu'ran they should trust the spirit rather than the Qu'ran. It's Qu'ranic. Gabriel told Mary she was to give birth to the Son of God. Now for some reason another spirit says he is Gabriel and Jesus is not the Son of God. Now should another spirit come and say he is Gabriel and Jesus is the Son of God...I supose the Muslim thing to do is change their opinion everytime a spirit tells them something.
the true God prevents such silliness by having a spirit tested against his word If the angel disagrees with God it is not an angel of God. Any prophet of God would know this is a demon that disagrees with God's word. Muhammad did not follow the word of God and could not have been a prophet of God.

hanpeh the problem with this is the God of Abraham which Allah says he is teaches different than Allah...seems to be a problem. If Allah is the God of Abraham seems like he would agree with himself.... A prophet of God or even an angel had to be in sgreement with God's word... Now most Mulism believe Muhammad was a prophet of God even that he is foretold by the Bible...If this is true why doesnt he believe in God's word?

Sorry Towel I must be missing something...the word of God is believe which existed before Muhammad and goes back to Moses, says these things..Jesus read from these scriptures.
did God change his mind? Because before Muhamamd a prophet had to agree with God and the other prophets of God. angels didnt really bring one message from God and then another opposite message. Gabriel tells Mary she will birth the Son fo God...then Gabriel tells Muhamamd 600 years later Jesus is not the Son of God.

Miss anime, believe me I have studied the word of God. The Gospel which was before the Qu'ran is very clear and was very much available to Muhamamd. Moses himself mad ehis very clear that all prophet sof God would follow the word of God...Are you saying that this Bible is not the word of God that was available to Muhammad? If Muhammad knew of a different God of Abraham with a different Bible could you please produce this book? We can produce for you the same Gospel that was avaialable in 600 AD the time of Muhammad this scripture is in this Gospel. If Muhammad was aprophet of the God of Abraham he is required to believe this word of God. He is required to test a spirit by this word of God.
Is there another Moses and Abraham and Isaiah and Jesus?

Hanpeh was there no God before Muhammad? Because the god of Abraham had an entire Bible avalable in 600 AD which Muhammad either ignored or chose to reinvent. A prophet of god would pretty mush have to agree with God's word would he not? Is Allah not the God of Abraham?
Is this a new God? because the Qu'ran says it is the same God.

Gal.1:8 But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.

Is this not the word of God that was available to Muhammad?

Deut.13: 1 If there arise among you a prophet, or a dreamer of dreams, and giveth thee a sign or a wonder,
2 And the sign or the wonder come to pass, whereof he spake unto thee, saying, Let us go after other gods, which thou hast not known, and let us serve them;
3 Thou shalt not hearken unto the words of that prophet, or that dreamer of dreams: for the LORD your God proveth you, to know whether ye love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul.

A prophet of God must be in agreement with the words of the prophets and the known word of God

1John 2: 22 Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son.
23 Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father: [but] he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also.
24 Let that therefore abide in you, which ye have heard from the beginning. If that which ye have heard from the beginning shall remain in you, ye also shall continue in the Son, and in the Father.

To say Jesus is the Christ is to agree wiht the prophsies of the Messiah, this is not what Islam agrees with they do use the word Messiah without acceptiong the prophsies that prove Jesus the Messiah.

Brownie If you have read both the Qu'ran and the Bible you might refrain from refering to Islam as an Abrahamic faith, the Allah of Islam can not be the God of Abraham as they do not agree and this is not simply a petty argument.
If the God worshiped by Islam is not the God of Abraham who is he? It is the most important question anyone could ask someone who is concerned with their salvation.

Brownie the scripture all of them do without a doubt through revelation of God teach Jesus is the Son of God which is a part of the whole of God without which we have no salvation from a righteous God. From Genesis through Revelation, Moses refered to the tree of life. Manna from heaven. Abrsham himself refered to the lamb of God the the lord would provide. I pary that youw ill receive God's revelation.

wat r u saying?? I'll explain this to you. we (muslims) don't believe that gabriel told mary that she was going to give birth to the son of god. so then there are no contradictions to prove your point on!! the quran told us what gabriel told mary, and it's not what you just said. and about this whole devil thing, the devil can't take the form of an angel!! the devil can't do anything god doesn't allow him to do, so he can't turn into an angel or a prophet. we believe in what the quran told us because allah (SWT) himself said that these are his words. so, muhammad (sallah allahu alahi wasalam) didn't do anything wrong. he based his believes on the quran and allah (SWT)'s words and spread them. in which case he is the last and final prophet of god!!! before you start saying things like this, you should take your time to learn and understand our religion first.

The trinity is a faux perception by utilising many christian church homes. The Qu'ran is right in figuring out God because of the fact the writer on my own. the place interior the Bible does it say "God the Son"? that's often the 'Son of God' and there is the stumbling block between Islam and the fact of Jesus, being a son and not in straight forward terms a prophet. there's a explanation for this that the Qu'ran does not conceal, Regards

Dude, first of all "Son of God" doesn't mean "GOD". Second of all, Muslims have a problem with GOD having physical sons, they do not have a problem with GOD having "sons" in the spiritual sense. (In fact Muslims call themselves "slaves of GOD". This is similar to Christians calling themselves "children of GOD".)

The NT is clear that anybody who accepts Jesus as the messiah and follows GOD can be a spiritual "Son of GOD". Muslims accept Jesus as the messiah and follow GOD.

There is no contradiction here, at least for Muslims scholars and Muslims well versed in the Koran and Christianity. The only problem is the Christian belief that "Son of GOD" means that Jesus is "GOD". That is simply not Biblicaly supported, it is a fallacy. But you are free to believe what you feel GOD leading you to believe for "there is no compulsion in religion".

*****************************************************************
djmantx, yeah I do know what I am talking about. I have read the Bible from cover to cover, the Koran from cover to cover. I have also read all the material that supports Christianity, all the material that debunks Christianity. I have read all the material that supports the Koran and also that debunks it. My final opinion is this; Satan devides the people of the GOD of Abraham through petty arguments on theology and history. He turns GOD's people against themselves to fight and argue. And he is doing a good job of it, too. The average Muslim and Christian alike have both fallen prey to Satan and have overlooked their shared inheritance from GOD. But again, that is just my opinion. Later.

I know this might be a shock for you but John 3:16 does not say "begotten Son". Look it up. Make sure you read the whole article. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_3:16
It was an AOG pastor that admited this to me. I was shocked.

Also, the so called "fullfilled messianic prophecies" are mostly not even about Jesus. Have you ever read the entire passage of the "He will be called Imanuel" thing? It is obvious that many prophecies have been forced onto Jesus.

In all honesty, I don't know how anyone could say that the GOD of the Bible and the Koran are different. Have you ever read the Koran? Have you read the Bible? (I'm sure you have.)

Anyway, I pray that GOD will enlighten you and all others to the truth that Satan has hidden. Peace.

In Islamic believe, Iblis aka Lucifer aka the Devil will deceive people in many ways and he is damned smart at it. But he may never appear in any way that resemble God's prophet or angel. And no, we never believe the Devil was an angel even before his fall. Even after his rebellion to God, he is subject to God and can only do whatever God allows him to do. What I mean "allow" is what his power can do, not about his choice to follow or reject God's command.

So, although a spirit can appear in any way they want, no spirit can resemble Gabriel, Jesus and Muhammad. If you believe otherwise, well, it's your believe.

Edit: Brother, it's the OT that defy the teachings of Abraham and Moses. They never taught Trinity. It is Paul's words that disagree with Words of God and the teachings of Jesus. By the way, the title son of God is not exclusive to Jesus. There many sons of God. Study the culture at Jesus' time, and you'll know that all religious people and priest call themselve by that title. It simply means servant of God.
