What are your thoughts about psychic abilities?

When you say Amen do you realise you "Agree" and do you fully understand what you agree with ?
Hebrew word [amen] means "God of Truth" so when this term is used do you know it is or Man made Truth to suit them ?
First of all, amen is a word used so frequently in the Church that you would think that most Christians would know it's meaning. However, many do not. Others tend to use the word frivolously, some even thinking that it simply means 'the end.' But this word is much more than just the standard "thing to say," or the appropriate ending of a prayer.

Besides 'bragging rights' among other users on this site, what is all this about getting points and going to higher levels?

If someone really needs the recognition from other members because they are high on the levels, is this there whole life being higher up than those below them, then, perhaps they have no life worth speaking about in the first place, except 'existing' in cyberspace.

Any corrective feedback on this subject that proves otherwise?

I'm not asking about girl on girl porn with two blond bombshell types that's meant for men. I'm talking about true lesbian porn meant for lesbians.

I'm not asking for and perverted reason or because I want to see it. I was just having a conversation with someone and the question came up. Neither of us could recall having heard of such a thing. Besides neither of us thought lesbians would be consumers of porn.

I'm not asking for any links or explicit details, I'm just curious about whether such a thing exists.

When I talk to many people of faith I receive two different comments when I bring up the question, "How do you know you're going to Heaven?" Some people will tell me, "No matter what I do, God will always love and forgive me." Not to neglect the other side, an almost equal amount of people tell me that once you sin, you cannot be forgiven.

When I bring up biblical questions out of sheer inquiry, I often receive two very different answers from near equal amounts of people.

It's natural for everyone to think of themselves as correct, but I'll often hear, "They're not true Christians." Without being rude, because I truly am interested in the answers, I have a few questions on the subject:

a.Who decides who's a "real" Christian and who's not?
b. What is it exactly that makes a "true" Christian?
c. Who decides what's to be taken metaphorically and literally in the bible?
d. Why are certain things taken differently?

Please, no jokes. :)
Thank you in advance.

I do and I have viable proof of its existence. My brother died in 2002 2 weeks before his birthday and in 2003, I was doing laundry trying to get it all done as soon as possible. During this time I was contemplating the year of my brother's death. I had forgotten it because so many people had died in a few short years that I was just so overwhelmed. So, I asked Jack, "Jack, What year did you die?" No sooner did I ask that then a penny fell out of my son's jeans pocket and it fell heads up on the concrete and it said 2002, so I believe in it fully. Whenever I have a problem, I ask Jack for help on it and almost immediately start finding pennies on the ground. I collected hundreds of them in the last three years and have many miracles happen to me. I needed a job, so I asked Jack, help me get a job, and voila! A job was offered to me. Needed money, Jack help me get money for . . . and the pennies showed and so did the money.

So far, I'm having a rockstar/concert theme. The colors are going to be black, lime green, and silver. I'm thinking about doing ticket invites with fake backstage passes that my guests will need to show to the "bouncer" to get into the party and be marked off the list.

There will be music playing, a buffet dinner, and cake/presents as well as a 16 candles ceremony from what I've planned so far.

I want it to be more 2000's rockstar, not 80's or anything like that though. I don't know what to do about decor that would be sort of unique, or at least fit my color/party theme. And I also don't know what food to serve.

Apart from that, I don't know what kind of game I should have. I need at least one game as sort of an ice breaker, but mindful of my age.

I'm giving out glowsticks and guitar lights as goodies, also, and there's going to be a shirt raffle.

Those things and other ideas would be fabulous! On a budget!

It's going to be at the end of Sep. and I'm turning 16. Please help?

Would Christians consider it against their religion to work in a smoke shop or liquor store?

I want to call it "Holy Bible vol. 2 - the legend continues". I am fairly certain that god wants to write this through me and I figure I can't argue with that, I just do the typing. We also have a screenplay in the works if the book is half as successful as part one.

My friend and I trust each other really well. She and I love animals and we both talked about how basically everything; including our facebook pass word, is our pets name. I won't do or touch anything, I just wanna be snoopy and just log onto her facebook and look around, for fun. She doesn't know I'm doing this, like the old saying goes, what they don't know, won't hurt them. But do you think it's wrong?..I just want to log on and take a look around, just to read some of her messages and stuff-(messages that she has send or received-and no one else can see)?...* I won't do anything but look-thats it-just because I'm curious to know anything juicy..heehee.

Question is only for people who actively use their middle name as their first. I am pondering doing this and was wondering what kind of things you went through.

1. How often do you use it?
2. What docments (Official and otherwise) do you use your middle name?
3. What documents (Official and otherwise) you still use your given first name on?
4. Bills? Credit Cards?
5. Any other personal opinions?

Dawkins argument against this practice is peerless. A child is too ignorant and inexperienced to make such decisions, yet you see bible camps and Islamist child armies (see memritv.org, its unreal, kids no more than 6 years marching for Allah). Parents committed to pushing their religion on their child.

Children are entirely dependant on their parents. No child in his/her right mind would flatly reject Islam in an Islamic country, and even in countries with there is more freedom, children still want to please their parents and know what gets them the goodies, and what gets them the stick.

If humans had a real choice, religion would die. There would be no programming from birth and no religious identity that mirrors nationality or racial indentity. If your given a religion at birth, you are essentially given a nationality, afterwhich, stubborn ignorant loyalty keeps the fiction seered in the brain.

Christians like to say that the bible must be true because it is so historically accurate and its prophecy is so sound! Let me see, you must be talking about these:

1. The earth is flat with four corners and rests on a foundation
2. The earth is stationary.
3. The moon gives off its own light.
4. Insects have four legs
5. Plants can survive without a sun ( in the bible plants were created before the sun )
6. The earth is a few thousand years old.
etc, etc, etc.....

I guess these are the amazing facts you are so mesmerized by!?

I feel silly asking this, but I'm not versed in languages or even in cultures. I've always been curious as to whether or not most Asians -- Japanese, Chinese, Korean, Vietnamese, etc. -- can understand each other on some levels. Being that I'm Canadian living in Northern Ontario, I am fluent in both French and English. I noticed many, many similarities in all Latin-based languages -- French, Spanish, Italian, and even English. Is this so with Asian languages? And also, being that Russia is a part of Asia, is the Russian language at all similar to the other "Asian" languages? And slightly unrelated -- are their cultures at all similar? I apologize for being so obviously naive, but I've always been interested in knowing. THANK YOU!!! =)

If men evolved from apes, where did the ape come from? As well as the other animals? People base their religion on how they were raised, so how do u know without thinking outside of your comfort zone? I know there is a God, he has spoken to me. I have based my religion on how I was raised but also my personal evaluation of God. So I want to know, what makes people say there is no God? Why are there so many unbelievers out there? Does no one fear God anymore?
