these areas are very dangerous because their are two power sources in my faith , the proffits spoke of the future both near and far and past but only spoke as GOD commanded mostly, the other sort is real too but it leads you away from the real truth. yes these powers are true and do exist and very dangerous so seek prayerfully.

That is actually a difficult question to answer because of all the role playing and the "For Entertainment Purposes" psychic hot-lines and whatnot. Generally speaking if there is a costume or any money changing hands I'm out, but that doesn't mean that I don't think legitimate psychic phenomena occur. They do, but not so much as portrayed. There does seem to be something unexplained happening from time to time in often very ordinary people who are just as likely to chalk it up to being something connected with a religion. A real ESP experience can be intense and happen unexpectedly.

I answered this in another thread, so I'm just copying and pasting my personal experiences.

When I was about 7 or 8 I was sleeping over at a friends house. We were in bunk beds and my friend was asleep. I was lying awake and staring at the ceiling. All of a sudden I had a large knot form in my stomach and I heard sirens. I woke my friend up and asked him if he could hear them. He could not, and the knot became unbarably painful. I went downstairs and asked my friend's parents if I could call my house and go home. When my mom picked up the phone she told me that my Zadie (yiddish for grandfather) had had a heart attack and was in the hospital. He died shortly after that night.

I've also had many instances of Deja Vu where moments, hours, even days feel as though they have already been witnessed in a dream.

I sometimes feel that I may be prone to precognition and that maybe I should read into it.

There was another instance during my freshman year at college. I had just gotten through a party at a friend's and was walking back to my dorm. I was crossing the street and the guy walking towards me gave me a very strange look. I turned around and continued to watch him after we crossed ways. He walked into the street and almost got hit by a car. Again, he looked back at me and gave me this same look. I brushed it off until the next morning. Later that day, I found out that two kids that I grew up with had been in a drunk driving accident the night before and had both died. They got into the accident at almost the exact same time that I had the encounter with this man.

When I go into a trance I can speak with Aliens from other dimensions. They told me that people claiming to be psychic are generally mentally ill. Psychics are usually very very funny people. They often work as comedians or as real estate agents. Its better to develop your own psychic ability rather than wondering about if other people have that kind of ability.

I am a skeptic at heart. The only psychic ability I have seen any evidence of is clairvoyance (a personal experience that scared the heck out of me at the time), and even that I do not consider to be conclusive proof.

I think they are real, but there also a lot of people that claim to have these abilities and don't. They just rip people off,or cause fear. And why do those that have his ability charge for it, I'm sure they would get rewarded for their help. My Mom and I have a lot of dreams that come true. Is this considered being psychic, or is it God warning or guiding us?

I think they're possible, possibly soulish.

I've never actually seen telekinesis or telepahty at work. I know of personal cases of precognition and visions, however, occultic activity I have had the pleasure of not witnessing.

I believe you can be born with certain soulish gifts, except telepathy, telekinesis and clairvoyance. those are evokable and a sixth's sense is generally random in occurance or from God directly.

The human brain is an absolutely remarkable glob of goo and wiring, and gosh only knows, long ago I stopped being amazed by it. I am suspect of persons who make money as a 'psychic,' but about ESP et al, I simply haven't made up my, er, mind yet.

Psychic abilities are fairly well documented, and experts say that most of us are far more psychic than we would believe. As for me, I feel no evidence of any... if I do have some, I'm not aware of it.

I've had some strange experiences happen to me ALWAYS when I least expect it. I was playing a roulette table once and the winning number would literally jump off the table. I'm a small time better, but I got something like 12 numbers in a row correct. Never happened again. Another time, I heard myself calling a girls name and said to my husband ,"I think we're going to have another child." About 11 monthes or so later, I did have another child and her name is the name I heard myself callout that night.

Yes I believe it - I've met it. True psychics can tell you things about your past which only you would know. They cannot tell the future but can make a good guess at it. True psychics use demonic powers which can also impersonate the dead.
