My son is 14 months old. I am breastfeeding him but am torn on weaning him or continuing.

Reasons I want to continue:
-better for his health
=more natural - humans aren't meant to drink cows milk

Reasons I want to wean:
-his latch is correct (have got it checked by a LC) but he is leaving teeth imprints and it hurts
-so he can start going for sleepovers with his grandparents. Oldest DS started sleepovers when he was 11 months old.
-I've just been feeling weirded out by it.

He takes a sippy cup fine, but he is still very dependant on breastfeeding. Seems to really enjoy it. I nurse him usually around 4-6 times during the day and 3 times at night. Not sure if I would wean during the day first or night.

I know that it's not possible to make a child breastfeed....but I wonder if I'm more attached than he is. He's my last baby and I get sad at all of the new milestones he accomplishes.

Any advice?

Somebody please give me some ideas how to stop this. My 16 month old daughter gags herself when she's mad or when she is alone. She will forcefully shove her fingers down her throat and gag herself until she throws up. She does it for attention and to "retaliate" against you. The doctor says that it's a phase and she will grow out of it. She has been doing this since 11 months. I've tried smacking her hand and hot sauce and yelling and ignoring it but nothing works. She wakes up gagging every single morning. She will look you straight in the eyes and put her fingers in her mouth and fake gag. It's a game to her. I'm at wit's end. Everybody that I know has never heard of anything like this or if they have it's only lasted about 2 weeks. Does anybody have the same situation as me and know what I can do? If I ignore it, she will continue gagging herself until she throws up everywhere. Please help!

My three year old son just stuck an M&M up his nose. I'm sure he is not the first and won't be the last, but I can't get it out. I don't even see it up there anymore. It isn't bothering him. I am assuming it melted and just ran down his throat. He refuses to blow his nose. Should I take him to the doctor?
