First it depends on how far along you were. I was VERY early on, And i didn't go until my husband told his aunt and she forced me to go. The Doctor didn't do anything but blood work and a pelvic exam. Then told me to rest. But by the time I went I was done bleeding for about a week.
My question; How do you know you are having one? How did you know you were pregnant? I still recommend you go!There could be a chance you didn't pass everything, which means infection which leads to the loss of ability to have more kids. Also, maybe it was twins and you still are pregnant, with one and if so the Doctor can save one.Or Worse case it could be something really wrong, not a miscarriage. And is your reason for not going to the docter that good? Good luck to you and please make an informed decision.

It is good to make sure everything is OK. Sometimes you may not expel everything and it could cause too much bleeding. Saturating a pad every hour is too much. I would go to be on the safe side. Sorry about the miscarriage.

Absolutely. Apart from needing to check on your general health (there must have been a reason why you miscarried) the doctor will need to know that - terribly sorry to put it like this - absolutely everything has 'come away' and your uterus is clear. Otherwise you could get quite nastily ill and find it difficult to conceive in the future.

I'm sorry this has happened to you. Take good care of yourself.

It may not be a miscarriage! Go to your doctor, you could just have a subchorionic hemorrhage. If it is that and they notice it in time they can give you special instructions to help prevent miscarrying the baby.

I think it would be a good idea, to make sure that everything is ok for future pregnancies, and your your own health. You could need a DandC
I think it would be wise for sure to see a Dr.

Ummm...YEAH....the doctors check to see what it is thats coming out of you and its best to go for your safety as well. Also, bleeding doesn't always mean miscarriage, thats another reason you should see your doctor.

You really should just in case anything is left inside, because if there is it could cause a really bad infection. I'd go just as a precaution.

I didn't...I knew what it was, I was only about 3 - 4 wks...but that's me. If you don't have any problems then you'll be fine but if you experience persistence bleeding or etc. then yes, seek medical attention.
