My son goes to a wonderful daycare and I would like to show my thanks to his three providers. I don't have a lot of money to spend on each but would like to give something personal.

Yes, folks, my beautiful baby boy got a black permanent magic marker that my dear husband (dumb***ss, sh**t 4 brains---no that's bad don't say that calm down and put the bullets away) left laying around. Baby boy marked ALL OVER a beautiful old solid oak desk and I can't find anything to remove it.

Please help mama before she goes bonkers (for those who are the serious type no, I'm not really gonna shoot up my ol' man just joking---and venting hehe). All help appreciated, folks.

I got home from work last night. My daughters room was a mess, she was told to clean a zillion times, so i finally had enough. I was emptying her garbage out when I noticed that there were box cutting razor with dry blood on them aswell as bloody towels. I am on medication for a health problem, but the medication somehow grew legs and walked away from the cabinet?......i am a single parent and have absolutly no idea what to do...any ideas?

I live in Ohio and its very cold and snowy, but my son gets so bored if he has to be in the house all day. I dont know what we can do to pass time. We play with play doh and he has a tent that he gets in but it seems like nothing keeps his attention for more than 5 minutes at a time. I dont know what to do, any suggestions? thank you!

My five year old son has recently developed a fear of the sounds the heater makes. It is a very loud ticking and banging noise. I don't have a backup plan and I live in Maine, so the need for heat is definite. I also live in an apartment, so the moral is that he is going to have to find a way to accept and deal with the sounds.

Problem is I have hardly carried a wink of sleep and I am getting very frustrated at this point. Any suggestions on how to handle this situation? I am a parent of 4 children (2) five year olds (1) 8 year old and an 8 month old baby, and consider myself a good father, but a good father always asks for advice ;)

Is any one else having this problem? Two boys and they want the same EXACT things (mostly my 3 yr old really). So my husband & I have to get them the same toys so they don't freak out on what the other gets! ANNOYING! We did get them a few different things but I just know there will be crying by my 3 year old. Just venting - I guess.

When we ask my son, who is 3 years old, what he wants for Christmas, this is his reply. "A big dinosaur with buttons that make it move". I know there are remote control dinosaurs out there, and I think that's what he's asking for, but are there any big ones that are reasonably priced? I found one from Fisher Price that seems like a good one, but I'm not sure how big it is. Obviously it doesn't have to be huge, I mean, he's only 3, but at the same time, I would like for it to be bigger than 10 inches tall.
Any help would be greatly appreciated! (Anyone else love Christmas as much as me?) :)

Me and my husband where married july 29th lats year. he left for basic training in September, came home for cristmas, then graduated at the end of January. he was home for a few months and left again in April for training to go overseas. he came home for 10 days in July, and left for Iraq. He came home for his leave in the beggining of November, and now he won't be back home untill July next year. Our daughter will turn 3 in February, and last night while we were watching tv before bed, she asked me first if she had made daddy go away. I told her no, daddy doesnt want to be away, and he misses her very much, and then she asked me if daddy was going to die. She has always reasoned at a level much older than her own, but I just don't know how to answer these questions from someone so young, and it hurts so badly. Please, does anyone have any advice on this? I just don't know what to do.

Hi, I am traveling through Air India with my 2 year old daughter from Chicago to Mumbai. This is my first time traveling with her and I am little nervous as I heard some bad things about Air India. I want to know if you have traveled Air India with a toddler and what was your experience like? For example was flight crew helpful? Do they provide warmed milk for toddlers? I know their entertainment system is poor, so can I take portable DVD player for my daughter to watch her favorite shows? I search through their website but I could not find any answer. I also tried to call them on their four different numbers but all of them are always engaged. My journey is very close, so please reply
Thank you.

lol she is so mean! She's not even 18 months yet and my face is all covered up with scratches by HER! She does it when we take away something she isn't allowed to play with and then cries after. I understand that but she also does it to just play with me. She thinks its a game. Grr! How can I stop her and teach her that it is wrong? She is too young to understand anything we say to her. I've tried going "noooooo", then she stops and knows she has been naughty but seconds later she does it anyway!

She gets away with everything because of she is so cute!

I am getting married in a couple of months and we are expecting a baby shortly after in April. I have a 41/2 year old boy. We have made it a point to include him in the pregnancy and all that. He thinks it's "his" baby. But it seems that everytime my fiance says anything to him or asks him to do something he gets mad and starts to throw a temper tantrum. I have tried not to interfere when my fiance is disciplining him for things. I want my son to understand that my fiance is here to stay and he's going to have to listen and respect him just like he does me. I should also say that we all live together. I don't know what to do!!! Should I not let my fiance have any control? I could sure use some advice.

My son slams his hands on his ears when he hears certain sounds and background noises. I was told by a doctor that he has spectrums of autism without having autism. Can anyone explain what this would mean? I'm having some disagreements with my husband. The doctor said that Bill Gates has this. He also said that my son is somewhere between Rainman and Einstein.

I peeked around the corner in his room to find that he had his diaper off and was playing with himself, He had a little hard on, when I walked in on him, his eyes got all big and he started screaming and pushing me out of his room, then he slammed the door on me and would'nt let me in..He usually doesnt act like this, and he's been taking off his diaper alot lately...I tell him no, and put his diaper back on with an outfit, but he still manages to get it off and now he pee'd on the carpet...Again not usual behavior, He's also really frustrated for no reason.. Is there a logical explanation for this? How do I get him to stop?Is it normal for little boys to play with themselves at this early of an age..?He turns two in January...
