You need to get an agent and then get a portfolio done. All of this costs money... a lot of it to get decent shots done. There are conventions that usually occur. Find out when one is, and go. However, it costs to get there and there is no guarantee once you get there.
Modeling is a very risky gamble. It costs money to get started - lots of it for lots of little things.. and big things. Then there is no guarantee once you even get an agent that you'll book jobs or anything at all. If you don't you'll be out all that money for a substantial amount of time,while you wait for someone to give you a break. Plus a lot of jobs dont pay well. You need to work awhile to break even.

I used to act and my manager and many other agents have told me that if a place wants money from you to put your child in modeling/acting it is most likely a scam. So be careful who you give money to and should probably find a place that will help you make money not make money off of you the moment you walk in.
