When we ask my son, who is 3 years old, what he wants for Christmas, this is his reply. "A big dinosaur with buttons that make it move". I know there are remote control dinosaurs out there, and I think that's what he's asking for, but are there any big ones that are reasonably priced? I found one from Fisher Price that seems like a good one, but I'm not sure how big it is. Obviously it doesn't have to be huge, I mean, he's only 3, but at the same time, I would like for it to be bigger than 10 inches tall.
Any help would be greatly appreciated! (Anyone else love Christmas as much as me?) :)

I got my son a big dinosaur for xmas, the brand is Fisher Price and it's a t-rex. They call it Imaginex. It's 4years and older, maybe you won't mind that. Anyway, I got it at Target for $24.95 and it had xtra toys in the box! Check it out!
They have smaller ones from the same brand less expensive too.

My favorite time of year. I think a Dinosaur of any size is OK as long as it creates a big imagination in him. He has probably noticed it on the television at some point, and can't remember what channel it was on. The important thing is to watch what he watches and see if it comes up as an advertisement at some point.

Hiya - my son is 3 also and for his birthday this yr I bought him 2 dinosaurs from Argos
It is a special offer - buy 1 get 1 free - for 19.99
page 1633 - cat no - 372 / 3542 it says for 4 yrs plus - but there is no reason a 3 yr old cannot have it ( think its a wire factor - but under supervision like my son, it is fine)

There is a good book called "Harry and the Bucketful of Dinosaurs." Target carries a whole line of dinosaurs toys that go with this book. Some of them talk. Not sure if any are remote control or not.

I saw some dino's at Wal-Mart. There are big and little ones, with and without controls or 'buttons.' Other than that, I don't know. Also - remember, a 'big' toy to a 3 year old is pretty much almost anything bigger than their hands. You don't have to go all out at 3...my mother gave me that lesson 2 weeks ago when my little one turned 3.
Good luck!

You could also get him a personalized book about dinosaurs - Kids really love to hear their name in the the storyline. Go to this website http://www.tlc-expressions.com They have lots of cute titles, including one called Dinosaur Land... it sounds like your son would love it! Check it - just a thought!

Target sells a remote control T-Rex for $15. It's on the aisle with their brand of toys, I think they're called "CoolToyz" or something like. They are in blue boxes. They don't list them on their website. My boys have it (5&3) and love it! It walks & swings its neck around while roaring.

My daughter wanted something along those same lines. So, we got her an Imaginex Dinosaur. They are about a foot tall and move and roar when a button is pushed. You can get them anywhere. We purchased ours at Wal-Mart.
